Explanation To Archiving Threads

I'm sure you have all noticed some threads have disappeared from view, they have not been deleted only archived. When I archive them the owner should be notified as to why and can message me if they want it brought back. If a thread is inactive for 60-90 days I will assume the thread is dead and will archive it, unless the creator states to delete perminatly. Random posts like short discussions, explanations of absence I will remove after 2-3 weeks of inactivity. Doing this helps prevent clutter and makes it easier for everyone to find the RP's they are looking for.

No the posts are completely removed from public view. The only ones who can do anything are myself and the moderators in the club. As for a sub directory I can create a tread with the following archived RP's if you like

 

I just archived a few more Rps due to inactivity. I will be checking back at the beginning of april and any RP threads with no activity for 2 months will be archived. If you have an RP you would like me to go ahead an archive please pm me here or on skype.

Lol no you're fine, you posted on the 5th of March. Its only when there hasn't been a post for 2 months that I will archive them. Mainly the RPs cause there are so many of them and new ones pop up. So to keep from having a bunch of inactive threads, I go through them every so often an archive the ones that haven't had a post for 2 months. They can always be brought back out cause I don't delete them completely, just remove them from view, so only I can see them. I usually message everyone on skype when I do them, but I'll PM you for yours, to check up on everything, if it ever becomes inactive since yours is different.

 

We often bring some back out and re-edit the intro. Plus members like to go back and read older RPs from time to time. I just wish I had access to the RP's we had back before JD shut down in 2012.
