Other M feels clunky with how you use your missiles. The way the rooms are made makes the camera a pain once in a while. You move way to fast and because it used the Wiimotes d-pad it makes moving in eight directions kind of annoying. The map is almost impossible to read since the map itself looks like a bunch of suare rooms while the mini map does not. I laughed a lot at the stupid dialogue, but it wasn't enough to make me not hate the story with all my heart. It might be the second worst story I've seen in a game (next to The Third Birthday) and what they did to Samus's character pissed me off. Despite being a sequel to Super Metroid there were a lot of plot holes between the two that made me thing Team Ninja (the people who wrote and developed the game) had never played Super Metroid; let alone Metroid Fusion which is a sequel to Other M. Hell, I have yet to beat Super Metroid (I didn't have a Super Nintendo as a kid so I'm playing it now for the first time but I know how the games story goes and how it ends) and I know more about the game then Team Ninja. The fact that they're working on Hyrule Warriors scares me a bit...

Tank rush.... never thought of that. My army was so big that I lost track of my units so the thought never crossed my mind xD. I did have a pretty big air force and navy though :).

What? No mention of pixel hunt minigame

True story, when I first started playing the game I was ready to return it to the store because I thought it kept freezing on me in the beginning. First I thought my controller was dead so I replaced the batteries. Then I realized my other games work fine so that wasn't the case. Then I restarted the game several times trying to get past the frozen screen in the beginning.

It was only when I was ready to go back to the store to return the game when my brother found on the internet the way through!

Lol, funny first impressions. I had to use a guide through all of those minigames. I don't think I ever used a guide on the first 2 minutes of a game :)

The "frozen screen" problem I was talking about was the first pixel hunt for the ship logo in the start of the game ;)
Yeah you know, I was trying to move my character but the game didn't let me until I pointed my remote at the ship logo.

My confusion was similer to the way I felt about the first time I ever played Super Mario 64. Who knew that in that game you had to jump "into" the pictures on the wall. Who tought of that? (For the record I love that game)

Edit- Okay I just beat Metroid Prime 3. This trilogy is amazing. I can't belive I didn't realize that back then when they first game out (this was a replay).

You know what? Screw it I'm playing prime 2 again.

Just started playing Persona 3 Portable again. Not sure how long I will keep playing this time though. I really like it I just don't like the portable version and my laptop doesn't emulate PS2 games too well (plus I'm broke).

Started Playing Super Mario Galaxy. Nintendo was going through a f***ing stage when they made that game weren't they? Everything spins and is round and spins and spins and spins. I fought a boss on a spinning round dome thing and to hurt him you had to spin into him which made him fall on his back and spin around and you had to spin into him again. Repeat about 3-5 times. Made me dizzy and feel sick. Otherwise a good game.

I finished up Alien: Isolation a couple of days ago. What a game! Very cool atmosphere, and the scenery was just gorgeous. Except when the Alien was about to take a bite out of you, that was rather monstrous. :p
I think I'll play a Metal Gear Solid game next. I want to finish them all before the new one next year.

I had an urge to replay MGS 1.

Very funny story, everyone knows how the creator has a sense of humor and puts it in his games right? Well I have the PC port of MGS 1 (far superior to the playstation and gamecube version that either has ugly pixels or messed around with the sound and cut scenes imo).

Well there is a part in the game where the colonel tells you to "look at the back of the CD case" in order to find the frequency number to talk to someone ingame. I couldn't find the CD case anywhere in the game. I thought maybe it had something to do with a previous game item I just picked up but no result.

Well... the colonel wasn't talking about a CD case in the game. He was talking about MY CD CASE THAT CAME WITH THE GAME. Lo and behold the scene with the talking was on the back of the CD case. Bonus points because the frequency number was there too. lol.

@Doomguy Oh yeah, the whole series is full of that sorta thing. I remember a part in MGS4 where Otacon calls you up and tells you that it's time to change the disc, then recalls that MGS4 came all on one disc, and starts going on about the wonders of blu-ray. I half think Sony told them to put it in there. :p

Lol that's funny, I didn't play the forth one (no spoilers please! :)) but that would be funny. The colonel going haywire in the second one during the codec scenes was pretty funny. I think my guy was naked during the whole ordeal? At this point though I just wanted to finish the game so it was really random

Alice: Madness Returns. Pretty game, though a little iffy with the controls.

No worries. Even if I did spoil it, it would make almost no sense out of the context. :p But the stuff at the end of MGS2 is what sows the seeds for MGS4. It only gets weirder from there. :p

Playing Persona 4 now. PS2 version.

Rage. So much rage at this game. Seriously who thought making the first few bosses this rage inducing!? I honestly feel this game cannot get any harder. There is no way this game can get harder. It's already borderline unbeatable. I have some knowledge from Persona 3 so I'm not going in completely in the dark. It's just so damn cheap. One hit KO moves galore. Seriously some of these bosses are so hax.
    :sigh:
Okay back to the fray, enough complaining. That was a moment of weakness on my part, won't happen again! (I hope)

Okay I just have to double post because...

This sums up exactly how I passed the bosses and how I expect you to care ;)

I've mostly been playing Destiny and recently, a lot of Starcraft 2. I kinda skipped out on Heart of the Swarm, but now I'm itching for some Legacy of the Void...whenever it comes out. Make it happen, Blizzard! TAKE MY MONEY AND GIVE ME A PROTOSS CAMPAIGN!

I just finished playing through Lone Survivor and Fire Emblem: Awakening. Both excellent games. I would highly recommend them. :3

Currently working my way through Dungeon Keeper Gold and finishing up a replay of Twilight Princess.
