I suppose you're against summoning help? Because Solaire will help you a lot with that fight too. I remember finding the Centipede demon before I could actually fight it and trying to kill it for about twenty minutes with arrows...It annoyed me when it actually appeared...

That actually scares me because I'm level 61 on my mage and my highest stat is 28(INT obviously)...As I said earlier I only just defeated O&S so I'm not near the Centipede Demon at all. I do feel good about myself a bit though as I FINALLY learnt how to parry... It only look 160+ levels and 1 1/2 playthroughs to learn..

I did summon Solaire once, but I was out of humanity after that so I wasn't able to revert to human. I don't mind having to restart Dark Souls. It's not to bad once you know where to go, though I forgot where the shortcut in Blighttown was....

You can buy Humanity for 6000 souls at the vendor in the shortcut from Firelink Shrine to the Capra Demon if you're desperate. Also if you want an easy win against the Centipede turn right once you're in the arena with it and follow the path until the wall cuts away and you can go right. You'll see an open area with a lootable body on it. Fight the demon there and your life should be made easier if you aren't fighting him there already

As for the shortcut for Blighttown I'm guessing you mean from the Bonfire near Queelag's Domain? If so, these directions should get you out of there....

As you're facing out of the pipe where the bonfire is turn right as if you're heading towards Queelag herself, hugging the wall on your right as you go. You should fight two ant-fire-death thingy-ma-jiggys. After the second one you should see a path that inclines and turns left, follow it.
Once you're following it you should see a wheel rotating. Jump on one of the platforms and ascend to the top. Once you're at the top of the wheel you should find yourself climbing up a series of about 6-7 ladders before you climb up onto a boardwalk that leads into a dark, greenish cave. Run into the cave and just run past the fat guys and you'll end up in The Valley of the Drakes.

Then you'll see a small plank bridge leading to the other side of a ravine, cross it and turn left until you come across a iron bar door (It needs a key I think but I do not remember where it is, sorry). If it miraculously opens for you because you have the needed key or because you have the master key descend the spiral staircase and you'll come out at the New Londo Ruins.

Once here you turn left as soon as you exit the satircase and hug the wall. You'll soon find a doorway carved in a stone wall, pass through it and turn right to have some stairs come into your field of vision. Follow these stairs up and once atop them follow the path by taking a sharp left. At the end if this path will be a lever and if you turn right the elevator that will lead you back to Firelink Shrine.

If you were hoping to skip the depths and go straight to Blighttown to face Queelag just do this in reverse(The elevator is accessed by going past the guy closest to the bonfire an down those stairs then going down the second set of stairs on the other side of the fire keeper) but you will need the master key if you're planning on doing this backwards.

I hope that's what you were looking for and I hope it helps. If you have any more trouble you can message me. I Don't claim to be good at this game in the slightest but I'll try and help as much as I can as it's fresh on the mind.

Lol oh wow, my brother just started playing the third game not that long ago.

Good fun, making a high excitement low intensity rollercoaster is my crowning achievement in the game. Always build a marry go round. Why? Good music, a staple for any park, and most importantly when it breaks down it becomes an awesome high speed spinning machine :)

I could never bring myself to charge for the bathrooms. I wonder...

Currently doing a Starcraft marathon. Starcraft, Broodwar, Wings of Liberty, and Heart of the Swarm. Currently on the Protoss campaign of Starcraft. Taking a slight break from Fire Emblem: Awakening but will be picking it up again soon. I also plan to start the Mass Effect series soon (never played it) and the Dark Souls II DLC. I'm also playing SimCity 4 on the side.

All right I can't hold off anymore. I'm gonna go and wrap up the rest of the Metroid Prime Trilogy series by playing the third one. I beat it before and thought it was merely okay when compared to it's predecessor Metroid Prime 2. In the grand scheme of things I realized how much I like the Prime series so much. Maybe this time I'll have a new found appreciation for the third one? Well regardless this will be a worthwhile endeavor.

I'll be sad though. Once I'm done with this then I've gone through the entire Prime lineup wanting more. Why you holdout on me Nintendo?

Still adventuring through MP3. I decided to pick up Eternal Sonata from the local Gamestop. Oh wow, now this is a VERY interesting game. As someone who used to study music it was interesting to see that they made a game modeling the pianist Frederic Chopin. So far pretty interesting, even gave me a brief history lesson. Learning in a video game? Sure why not? Seemed relevant to the story somehow which is a plus. Gameplay reminds me of a simple version of the Tales series.

I also bought Borderlands 2. Can't go wrong with that.

I was playing Steins;Gate but I had to put that on hold for a bit (been stressed out and haven't been able to really focus on reading unless I'm making fun of it) so I started, and beat, a piece of shit known as Metroid Other M and for some reason I'm trying to 100% it...
Other then that I was playing Shin Megami Tensei 1 (but stopped for the same reason I stopped playing Steins;Gate) and it might be one of the best RPGs on the SNES. I say one of the best because it's the same console that has Final Fantasy 4 on it :p.
Started playing Civilization 5 and that game is just... great. I love it so much. I thought I wasn't gonna like it but being a world history nerd it kind of hit me in my sweet spot. Yeah it doesn't teach you too much about the world leaders, but it's still fun. Also it let me play as Russia and nuke Brazil so that's a plus.
And last but not least @Dungeon-Master and I are playing and making fun of Really? Really! which is a piece of crap that gives us too much to work with xD. Also it's a watered down Phoenix Wright clone which I thought was odd.

EDIT: I would have put a mini review of Other M in my post, but what can I say about it that hasn't already been said?

@Heizengard I would love to hear you elaborate some more on Other M. As I stated multiply times already, I'm on a mist of a Metroid game marathone. I think I was going to skip replaying that one though. I didn't like it either.

Civ 5? Damn, my Civ 4 game crashes all the time on my old computer. Something to do with a massive late game tank rush :)
