My father told me about the series and said the same thing. I'm still on book 1. Roughly half way through.

It actually won't hurt if you read Moreta Dragonlady of Pern after you read the White Dragon. Some of the "prequel" Books are best understood after the initial Trilogy.

I prefer to read in the order the books are released, until I've read all of the books. Then I read in chronological order.

@James Haught No no no. Do not read them as they were released. You'll mess up the story that way. Because the story for the Masterharper of Pern comes before the Dolphins of Pern if you do it that way. You don't want to read Masterharper first because a main character passes away but is still alive in Dolphins.

@BlackHeartedRose, if you get a chance, find Blackbeard: A Tale Of Villainy And Murder In Colonial America and give it a go. It really is good.

woah Woah Woah Do not question our Canadian Books about having a bestiality relationship with a bear!!!!

    Also that book won

Bear is a novel by Canadian author Marian Engel, published in 1976. It won the Governor General's Literary Award the same year. It is Engel's fifth novel, and her most famous. The story tells of a lonely librarian in northern Ontario who enters into a sexual relationship with a bear. The book has been called "the most controversial novel ever written in Canada".

    Its a Classic!!!

I'll be honest, never heard of it.

I read French F up shit in high school.

Not bestiality, it was only stalking someone into loving them.

I read manga and novels. Lol
I'm gonna stay away from manga for a bit though. Have a lot of books to actually read. So far I've read 117/944 that I have.

@Noobs, I probably won't read it cause of the content, but thank you for the recommendation. I appreciate it.
