What Anime Should I Watch Next?

Can I get some feedback on Another? Is it any good?

 

@dedseed1 it was enjoyable to watch until the last episode. Purely because the ending came from out of nowhere... Possibly the worst ending of a series that I've seen.

@dedseed1 Don't even think about watching Another. It's dull, it's got loads of plot holes. It tries to be this "new thing on horror" but it falls flat. Ever liked Final Destination? Well Another is essentially Final Destination, just with high-schoolers.

 

@Sir-Maddy I'm open to suggestions. Remember, I like dubbed, not subbed. My tastes tend to run on the more mature type (and I'm not necessarily meaning nudity).

I downloaded Another last night, so I'm gonna give it a go. Having a bit of trouble trying to find fist of the north star that @Sir-Maddy suggested, but I'm sure I'll find it eventually as well. Gotta tell ya, for someone like me who's just barely getting (back) into anime, this community is a god send. ALL feedback from each of you is highly appreciated!

They were all very entertaining and all of them are both subbed and dubbed, but let me warn you: One of them is very traumatizing

 

@Natsu appreciate the suggestions. I actually started Elfen Lied when it was on netflix, but didn't get the chance to finish it. It's definitely on my to watch list. Darker than black & steins;gate are also on said list. Haven't heard of the others (with the exception of Titan), so I'll definitely be looking into them as well.

Actually I should really check out the sources for that anime. Maybe I'll like it more if I did what you suggest. Let me guess, it's one of those hentai things again isn't it? Sometimes I get that vibe from some anime...



So anyway I'm going to watch an anime (Finally!)

I got many choices and two entire weeks of pure laziness. I narrowed down to three anime that I *will* watch at some point.

Initial D series. I remember someone (Bato? Ovyda? One of you guys I forgot) rave about this series. When I took a look what it's about it seems like something I would like too. Race cars and sports drama. I love sports and don't mind at all dated visuals. I'm just worried if this is infested with a whole lot of filler, that's a lot of episodes.

Hajime no Ippo. After the disappointment of that Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight (At least I didn't have to spend money ) I need something to bring my spirits back up. This sounds like it's meant for that kind of thing, a drama filled boxing anime.

Monster. I need to watch this.

 

Well, after failing miserably at keeping up with the currently airing anime [Kuroko and Love Comedy are the only ones I really care about atm], I'm looking for offline anime suggestions and my plan to watch is all screwy.

# of episodes between 12 and 26. I'm particularly looking for one that is non-action, funny, and has a great main character [or no main character], but that seems like wishful thinking. I feel like I've watched every anime that I can love, so I'm starting to look for one I can enjoy. Feel free to go outside those bounds if you know me and think I would enjoy something else.

For the love of god, no romantic comedies please [Unless you're 100% certain I'd like it. Cliches annoy the fuck out of me].
