I have to admit, I feel as though I've run out of anime to watch again. Or maybe I am just lacking motivation after Death Parade? I'm beginning to watch Your Lie in April. But, I really want something that is fast paced. I might give Psycho Pass a go at some point...

OK, I just one simple minded question: Is Corpse Party worth watching? Saw a few gameplays of the game and remembered there was an OVA

N-no. Honestly Corpse Party is a shit game series. It only uses gore as shock value and there's really nothing good about it. It's just a really gory OVA. Also it's censored.

@Natsu Maddy is right, Corpse Party is a gory mess, and that was exactly why I enjoyed it so much. I have no idea what she means by censors though because almost everything was shown in that full disturbing quality that made it a great watch. The OVA series made me want to play the game, I still haven't but it would be a lot of fun.
Sachiko Shinozaki is one of the only characters I'd describe as moe, she's an adorable little ghost girl that I have listed as a favourite character on MAL.
Gore and moe seem like such an unusual combination but it was definitely interesting. If you're fine with anime gore then go for it because you watch things quickly and this is only 4 episodes big anyway.
I wish they'd animate some of the other bad endings, a few sound particularly brutal and that'd make for quite an OVA itself.

So it seems that there are some mixed feelings for the OVA, I'll check it out later though, gore is not my thing but it has been a while since I watched a horror anime, and I'll watch a different horror anime later on

hey dude! ill try to give you some anime that matches what you gave.

    full metal alchemist - brotherhood
i havent finished this yet but how the story progressed is great. you wont feel that the story rushed (which made the number of eps totald 60+). character development and attachment is also great. you wont get to think the "just because he is the MC he will beat the other guy into a pulp with no problem".

    code geass
im surprised that you watched deathnote but you didnt include this in your watched list (could be you did but just didnt add it). this is the next series when someone said he watched deathnote (and vice versa).

    magical girls: madoka
dont get me wrong for recommending you a girly show. youll be surprised as to how deep and dark the story is for a mahou shoujo anime.

    black lagoon
this series can be summarized with just one word.. "FU*K"
and i suggest watching this dubbed.

I have to admit, all I am watching at the moment is Durarara!! x2 Ten. I can't find any anime to satisfy my watching needs. I have started a few other series, but I have to admit none have grabbed me significantly. But, then again it could just be that I don't feel like watching anime at the moment. I might re-watch the Vision of Escaflowne.

yeah a lot of the new releases this season are okay at best.

If your want some suggestions from this season
One Punch Man-A really fun show. Check it out

Shinmai Maou no Testament Burst-yes it's ecchi but it's still pretty decent.

Ushio to Tora (TV)-Based on a somewhat old manga at this point it's great if you want something that feels like a classic shonen series. If you liked older series like Yu Yu hakusho then this should please you

Heavy Object-Two idiots get lucky and destroy a super weapon. Now their bosses keep sending them to other battlefields to destroy other super weapons. It's an interesting series watching them try to figure out the super weapon's one critical weakness and exploit it.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans-Finally a Gundam series that returns more to what people always liked about the franchise. If you liked seed or 00 then this is along the same vein.

I quite liked 00 and I also enjoyed Gundam Wing! So you mean in terms of a plot it goes back to the whole Earth colonising space?

sorta. the main characters are residents of mars and the girl who serves as a catalyst for getting the plot going is a representative of the Mars independant movement. I just meant more the focus returns to actual battles with political stuff going on in the background and with at least minor characters dying once in a while. All in all it just feels more like a classic Gundam series and isn't trying to do something weird like Build fighters or Reconsista did.

So far there hasn't been any sort of all out war but it seems like one could break out or at least some large scale battles.

After looking at your list I'd recommend you look into Ef- A Tale of Memories. I haven't seen the last few episodes myself but it resembles the KEY anime to an extent. It is also based on a visual novel that has shocking and sad moments. There is another season called Ef- A Tale of Melodies that I would suggest only if you like the first season. There is romance but it is not a comedy so hopefully you will enjoy it.

I've heard about that one. I know @Timekeeper watched it and he liked it, so I guess I should give it a shot then.

...right after I finish completing the national pokedex in ORAS xD

@youngnozomi I seem to remember reading the plots for each. They don't sound like they will be any good. But, I will give them a try.

@Metazoxan so you're actually watching the new Gundam then? I was curious about it because I notched that Man With a Mission does the op theme so I was going to give it a chance. Is it worth the watch? Mind you I've never watched anything Gundam but shorts so it isn't like I'm a fan of the preexisting franchise that is Gundam.

Anyway I'm kind of out of anime to watch now. I have a lot I could start but I don't have any I Really want to begin. Too many choices and not enough series that capture my interest wholeheartedly. Anyone got an interesting suggestion or something? It can be almost anything as I don't even know what I feel like watching, maybe something stupidly fun, who knows.
