What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Shakugan no Shana S You know, this means I'm about to start the uh...feared? Anyone season 3 of Shana and, from how the last min of S ended, and from what MAL says it's about...I'm scared. If this really is true and there's no explaination or getting it "back" to how it was before then, I will rage, I will not be happy, I will be saying, they RUINED the entire anime. But enough of that, S was real good, but, the last 2 eps got to me. It showed the life of a torch or what I believe to be a mestese (However that's spelt) and well, I cried some because of the last ep and what happened. T^T

@Sir-maddy: Never watched kill me baby and from what all I've seen of the dub so far, yeah the VA could have been better but as I watched it, I got used to it. Anyway, I'll continue the dub to the end and if I really want too I can always see the sub laughing. Besides, if I dropped the dub I'd have a hard time getting around to even finishing the series as I don't watch subs that often because it takes up more time (due to reading) and is harder to watch. (Since you have to read and rewind if you miss something)

@Mafiacow: Hem, well next time I'll just trust you'll either watch it or refuse too and if refuse, and I think it's worth watching, I'll try and get you to watch it.

Well, least you can laugh about it now too, right?

I love the Eva TV series and te 2nd movie(Not referring to this one fyi) and I imagine i'll ove the 3rd and maybe 4th movies too but , this one? The one that tells us what happens at the end of the TV series? All I can say is, dear GOD!!!! What the FUCK is dis messed up shit! O___O If the creator's intention was to get you tell even remotely see ad feel how he must have felt at the time when he created the eva TV series then he did one hell of a bang up job! But for THIS crap o be the ending of the V Eva series!? O__O NO! Just no! Seriously that's some messed up shit! Mind fuck hello! As for me! I can "acknowledge" this movie as either A) happening in someone else's mind/drams or B) it having happened in an alternate universe but this one isn't the TRUE ending to the eva series imo!

Needless to say, I don' think too many people would enjoy this, esp if they haven't watched the enire EVA TV series since tis is the continuation and ending to the TV series... I you watched the TV series, and you aren't a big fan of Eva, you "might" want to steer clear of this one... Least it had some good messages in it.

EDIT: @sir-maddy: I know you're an eva fan so there's a chance you've seen the end of evangelion, well, either way, I need a hug after watching that movie...

Actually you're half right but I knew someone would come along, tell me that and at Maddy for me so, arigato my dear Watson Mafia. You're right it doesn't tell you directly that you've got a mention but it WILL tell you if you go to the bar itself and scroll down to mentions, even clicking the mentions will get it to show up.

I think I'm going to have to go to another streaming site to finish catching up on the dub of Bleach. lol You passed me by 21 eps already and ever since a few years ago, I had to put it on hold, then got to catch up and stayed on top of it but now, once again stuff been preventing me from continuing it. lol

Evangelion is on my plan to watch list, but 3.33 comes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before that.

Well in either case the action for the last one certainly picks up like crazy. Bad news on that though is the fact that the plot was thrown out the window completely. Too many new characters just pop up and old characters start to act out of character and is annoying. At least the action and battle music is good. As a bonus they bring back one of the older songs used in season 1 for a battle, always love it when an anime does stuff like that.

If you are refering to the season before the last the first half was frankly a little boring. At least the second half was better.

Wut? o_o An Eva fan from just watching the first 2 movies but never seen the TV series! What madness is this!? Anyway, since the 2nd half of the 2nd movie and 3rd & 4th movies are different from the TV series (And for God's sake they better be a shit ton better than the End of Evangelion movie!!!) you really should get around to watching the entire TV anime. But, be warned, after watching the TV series you'll have the end of evanagelion movie (I'm shorting it too EOE or EOEM from here on lol) to watch, should you watch it, esp to the end, I'll be there to give you a hug if you need one and if you @ me.

Yes. :3 Shana S is an OVA series but it comes before Shana 3 and after shana 2 according to MAL and I'd have to agree with why they put it in between the two seasons. So I am counting it as a prequel to Shana 3 like mal lists it as. Combat means nothing if plot is thrown out the window and the characters don't act like they should. That said, I've not watched an ep yet but I don't have high hopes from what "little" people and mal has said about S3. >_> Did I mention I take anime AS WELL AS romance seriously and if they ruin it, or lead people on or BOTH, it erks me big time. Samurai 7 is a PRIME example of this when it comes to romance. -_-  But enough about EVa EOE, Shana S3 and even Sam7. lol

 

Just finished re-watching Full Metal Alchemist with the wife and just started on Mirai Nikki. :3

Clannad is like some sort of creature trying to get you, but only hurting itself in the process. It starts off with a strong attack, then gets a bit of a wound. Its second attack isn't as powerful due to said wound, and it weakens itself even further. Its final "attack" leaves you (me at least) wondering if it was even trying this time, as it curls up and dies.

things became interesting. there is this detective introduced which made the series connected. i thought its just gonna be the same thing on every episode again and again.

Yeah Hell girl is pretty evil. I for one started to get a little fatigued watching the same plot unfold every episode and started to predict accurately what the ending of each episode would be. Still interesting with the idea though.

Anyway I re-watched "Here and There, Now and Then" with my brother who did not see it before. Heavy show, felt completely hopeless at times but somehow managed to have some heartfelt moments. One of my favorites.

 

Yeah Hell girl is pretty evil. I for one started to get a little fatigued watching the same plot unfold every episode and started to predict accurately what the ending of each episode would be. Still interesting with the idea though.



yep the recurring plot did make the show boring but its compensated by the wickedness of the evil characters. the story is still great and exciting despite those. the detective for me made the show exciting. without him, its just plain endless 8.

Oh yeah I like the reporter\detective guy too. Actually for most anime that kind of person is usually appeals to me since it puts a positive light on journalism. The search for truth and all that.

 

Just finished catching up on Bleach with ep 332 being the last I watched.
