@batosai, yeah I saw that scene, well there were 2 of them in 5 episodes but yeah. So I've now seen 6 episodes of GTO and it is great, I've missed such over the top reactions and older styled animation, watching it is really refreshing. So I am now in front of you and Ovyda for it and that next episode was interesting.
These characters, man I wish I had a teacher like that in that grade.

I also managed to finish Genshiken which wasn't bad but not that great, from the first season I don't really see how it managed to get 3 seasons, and OVA series, 2 spin offs and a spin off of a spin off. I am not sure if I will continue watching it yet, I may need some more encouragement as the first season alone took me more than a month to finish.

Oh this is such a sad, sad day. It's sad when I actually DROP an anime. (Actually it's not a sad day at all) But I'm not dropping 1 anime, oh no. I'm dropping TWO anime which are.

    OniAi

    And

    Burst Angel

OniAi, I want that 50 mins of my life back. Glad I didn't watch more than 2 eps. Seriously such a disappointment. Does NOT come remotely close to even being as good as KissXSis and some the characters look very familiar in appearance to that of a knock off of other popular characters from popular anime.

Burst Angel was a big let down. I was hoping for so much more. I do like the characters but the story while has promise sadly is executed poorly and really Meg? While I like you do you HAVE to ALWAYS get yourself kidnapped like Princess Peach? Joe go save her once again! -_- Really though it's how the story was pulled off and Joe being the only REAL one who can get things done that made me drop this anime. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up but I doubt it when there are MUCH better anime out there. Made it through ep 9 btw and at least it's better than OniAi though still a let down.

We used to watch it together. Tried watching 1 episode a day of it since we managed to do so for 103 episodes long with D. Gray-Man. Won't be happening now anymore. I'll probably have to find time for it to watch on my own, but no idea when i can do that. You'll probably have it finished by the time i pick it up again.

Burst Angel is like Canaan's retarded clone. Just skip it and watch Canaan instead.

I made the grave mistake of watching Burst Angel all the way to completion. You're lucky you got away with only minutes of your life being stolen Stevey. :p

Finished Ro-Kyu-Bu last night. For an anime that ended up warranting a second season, the first was unbelievably bland. The first few episodes and the last one were pretty good, but in the middle you can clearly tell that the writer's intentions were not on furthering the plot and only focused on the cardboard cut characters. Ugh...

@Natsuru-san, I was thinking of watching this one but unsure how I should treat it. Whats the echii level on this one? Over the top or reasonable? Is there a decent cast of characters and a plot or should I just expect randomness every episode?

Either way I'll give this one a chance though I'm not sure when.

Gonna start watching Full Moon wo Sagashite tonight.

I don't know what it is about older anime, but they always seem to pique my interest. This one got some really good reviews so i'm excited to give it a watch. But at 52 episodes, this'll likely be one of the last animes I watch this summer.

This one sounds like it can be pretty good. I might have to add it to my ever growing list of anime to watch.

Finished Baccano, and the story in the beginning had me quite confused. I wasn't sure what was going on so many characters were introduced in such quick succession. The ending wrapped everything up pretty nicely and it turned out to be fantastic. I loved the way they made everything from a jumbled mess to seamless connections that make complete sense.

I also start Kuroko No Basket which to my surprise is pretty good. Im the type of person who couldn't care less for sports and this has me interested. If it was in book terms it would be a pager turner.

There's one kind of ecchi  (And fanservice) I don't like and that's the pointless kind that just shoves it in your face. HOTD in that Bath ep till the next ep pushed it for me but thankfully went back to normal. Anyway SW has that pointless ecchi BUT for whatever reason it didn't bother me much. Their outfits if you can't tell, well, you can see their panties. For me ecchi is pointless unless it has comedy and SW does have that but it also has the pointless kind too. Really SW is really good. I'm not a big fan of military but SW does this pretty good. I'm really not sure of the ecchi lv but I don't believe it was over the top. So, just give it a chance and see if you like it. Also, it took me 2-3 eps to actually start to get into it but once I did, I really enjoyed it. (Come on dubbing of the movie!)

Just finished AKB0048 - It's actually - despite its name - quite good. Very similar to K-ON ;D

    What to watch next...

Five minutes into episode one of Full Moon wo Sagashite, and I get greeted with a Pokemon reference.
A few minutes later, one of the cutest shinigami's ever was introduced.
Not too much later, arguably one of the most beautifully drawn blonde characters I've ever seen is also "introduced".
Almost immediately after, the high quality of the seiyuus and character personalities finally starts to sink in.
Another few minutes later, I hear the MC sing and it sounds both beautiful and natural.
After the episode ends, I realize this anime has a chance to be quite amazing.
Ten episodes later, absolutely nothing major to complain about. There are some flaws, but for the first time in a while I really don't give a sh!t about them.
