@BlurredExistence, i wanted to give my thoughts on that rape scene in Btooom, but then i realised you were talking about episode 2. Wasn't sure if you had seen Himiko's ''adventure'' on the island before she meet Sakamoto. There were spoilers in it so i decided to remove the text.

 

@Batosai: If you're talking about the fat man rapist that happens in episode 2 along with the revelations about what happened to her before coming to the island. However the theme has been revisited many times thruout this anime so you've made me very nervous, as i now sit down to watch the final 3 episodes, about what else it may chuck at me.

 

@BlurredExistence, Oh i see. Been a while since i watched it. I was saying how i don't take such things out on the anime itself but on the character who does it. Because it's just the harsh reality being shown. Trap a guy like that fat guy on an island, with a very low chance of surviving it and this would happen in real life aswell.

I'm aware of that hence why it doesn't just provoke anger in me but despair as well. It's not my intention for it to effect how i view the anime as a whole but as it's an emotional response i can't really do much about it. It probably would've been better if i had broken the series up a bit more rather than watching 9 episodes in a row, for example when i watched Mirai Nikki i had trouble with it's depictions of rape but since it was a long series and since i took a break after each occurrence it didn't effect my feelings for it as a whole.

Today meaning around 3 in the morning I caught up on Danganronpa really like it so far but I really want the MC to die unless he becomes less of a, well I just don't like him.

 

Ok so i finished Btooom! yesterday and i'm waiting to calm down a bit and reassess that anime before writing a rating/review. I also started Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo in an effort to help me calm down and while it's been much better than i expected it has given me a number of frustrations as well (specifically the main character and Rita), anyway i'm now at episode 12 with that, halfway thru.

It's dubbed?! I couldn't find it when i watched Black Lagoon for the first time several months ago.

Watching One Outs.

 

Re-watched Hatsukoi Limited this morning [meaning 3 AM]. I got hooked all over again. This anime is so underrated it hurts; all because it's not dubbed. If anyone is a romance anime fan, and can tolerate subs, this one is a real treat [And that's a tremendous understatement]. I think I can call this my new favorite anime.

 

Finished watching the Dub of Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail. It's just as good as the rest of the series. (Or rather S2 since S2 was better than S1) Was surprised by a few things. Now I want a S4. (Doubts that'll happen though) For those who don't know, this anime is also known as S3 of Black Lagoon, hence why I said a S4. Now I just have to watch the specials, though, I wonder, are they going to get a dub? Maybe I should hold off? If anyone knows for sure if the soecials will get dubbed or not please let me know. Thanks.

@BlurredExistence: Yeah, it was getting a dub later this year so I decided not to watch the sub. (Was GREAT timing really) I saw it on our other site and was surprised to see it up, so had to go ahead and start watching it, all done now though.

 

Finished Ebiten, that was funny and with all those parodies

 

I'm currently watching Shippuden episode 322, and I'm on episode 261 of Gintama.
