It's probably one of those shows i came across on MAL and it looked interesting enough to add to my endless plan to watch list. It definitely sounds interesting though so i'll keep it in mind. Only 93 chapters of Naruto before finishing that.

I'm re-watching Naruto and Inuyasha LOL. They were some of my first really big anime that I got into 10 years ago so I figured it was time to re-watch them to give a new adult perspective on it.

what made me watch it? i think, if i remember correctly, you introduced that one while it was airing. now with me who rarely watches ongoing anime, waited for it to finish. yesterday was the day i finally finished the series. as what someone said in the comment secion from the site i watched, asuka logic is best logic. that i agree to the most extent with regards to her thought process.

This sounds like something I'd do, I enjoyed everything about Asuka so I read the manga as well. There was a few more chapters they didn't adapt including a smaller girl with a crush on her so it made for some interesting scenes. I wouldn't mind a 2nd season of anime, or manga really since it was fun.
Although I wouldn't say her entire logic is best logic, there are a few troublesome implications if someone were to try it in the real world.

Update, I've now seen 17 eps of Capeta. The race was a bit of fun but after that there was an awkward timeskip and a bit of content jumping occurred so it receives some negative points. Still enjoyable to watch but a bunch of the learning curve for this sport has now been skipped so I'm a little disappointed. Still rating it a 7 though.

Also watched the movie Colorful [god it hurts to type it that way], and boy what a waste of 2 hours. I had high hopes considering its topic matter about death and redemption and the fact that @BK-201 rated it highly. But I couldn't stand the characters and the redemption didn't really feel like it paid off in the end for me. I really wanted to like it but I just couldn't. 5 was the best I could rate it as I had wished I spent the time on something else afterwards.

It's been a long time but I think I'm going to watch Crest of the Stars again. I just want to see space elves conquer humans.

This right here is why you won't grow as a fan. If you've seen the best of the best what else is there possibly for you in this medium? Go home Maddy, you're done with anime. Time to abandon your waifu, leave the dojin and burn everything that you once cared about like all those videos from fans of Oreimo after S2.
I'm not yet ready to discard anime, so LoGH is still a while away for me. I think I'd need to find a different hobby before I start that series.

As for me well I'm still charging head into all the mass of anime crap I can. I've now seen 26 eps of Capeta, and it is still entertaining but they better stop worrying about everything soon. I want more racing.
@Batosai I watched the Kuroko no Basket Last Game movie that was released to theatres a while back. The DVD was finally released so there are subs that have just come out online for us. It was fun seeing the miracles again. Although I feel it was a bit rushed to fit a mere hour and a half. And even with a movie budget some things seemed to be still shots, mostly background stuff, but with movie budget and popular franchise you'd believe they could have done something different.
I also watched the movie In This Corner of the World, which was okay but it didn't live up to my expectations either. Since it had won awards and was a lesser known hit I had huge expectations for it. I couldn't really tell apart all the characters, I remember almost no names from it and I didn't really grow attached to them. It also used timeskips somewhat poorly since it'd be impossible to tell a story about more than a decade worth of growing in two hours, without jumping through events quickly. Slice of Life about living during the war was okay but, I much preferred barefoot Gen and how it handled both the before and after.

Well Barefoot Gen was written by someone who experienced the atom bomb himself. I don't know about the other movie, but telling a story from experience is always hard to beat.

Has there been any news about a next KnB season? Or was the movie the last since it had that in its title?

So I just got back from watching Uchiage Hanabi in cinemas, also known as Fireworks in english, and well I am so very torn about it. On one hand I enjoyed it, visuals, osts, comedy just about most of it. But on the other hand I was disappointed with it to some degree as well. I enjoyed it but not as much as expected. I had such a hard time deciding on what to rate it, so I went with 7 because I wasn't bored but I didn't overly enjoy it like Koe no Katachi or Kimi no na wa.
Honestly I didn't hate the CG which seemed to be what most the people on MAL were hating. My most hated part was the weird insert song performance, the song itself was fine but the imagery was just too much for me.
I preferred the movie for its comedic value and the whole build up to about the halfway point as I was smiling throughout. There is just something fun about watching immature boys piss off their friends by being stupid, you know by acting like regular children. Instead of nonstop swearing like the local teens, and well @Sir-Maddy , we got going along for the ride sort of humour.
I'm not sure but I doubt I'll be watching this whole movie again though, unless I'm with someone that hasn't seen it.

@Batosai are you jealous that I got to see another anime movie in cinemas?
    Music video for those interested.

Also, I kind of forgot about this part, sorry. I doubt there will be a next season. Manga is over. Unless the author starts a sequel story that picks up afterwards then it should be the final one.
Although "Last" hardly means that. Naruto the last was just the last Naruto focussed movie, which brought about Boruto. Gintama had their Final Chapter movie 4 years ago and we know how that is.

It does seem like a good way to keep up with anime movies, more fun than watching at home alone. TMC was the best way for me to watch movies. I would probably go if one was in cinemas here if it looks decent enough to me, but i know it won't fill a dutch cinema so it will never happen. Closest we got was the Ghost in the Shell live action movie. If i'm ever in Australia i'll go to the anime cinema :D

finished devil is a part timer. enjoyed some parts of it like how lucifer described his condition in japan as heaven. i didnt expect that from him of all beings.

also finished sakura quest. it was good but its lacking the goosebumps factor and music that sticks. im slightly disappointed because of those. whenever i watch somthing from P.A, i get goosebumps in random scenes from random episodes but this one has nothing.

Eh what's wrong with Sakura Quest? From your 7 and @Negi-Springfield drop after 3 episodes I'm starting to wonder what has happened. What went wrong with it? I still found it very enjoyable and thought it only got better as it went on. I think the first ed theme was the best tune in it, and I do agree that the ost wasn't the greatest for emotional value. But I thought that the overall message about acceptance and the emotional growth the characters went through was a great ride. Sandal is also amazing.

It all boils down to what the audience is expecting and what they get. Or if they feel the urge to be surprised.
