Yeah the ending was kind of a let down.

Speaking of which, I finally finished (or rather started over) Zetsuen no Tempest.

Just finished Ergo Proxy. There were some episodes that made me think I was high on drugs or some shit. And I wasn't. The last time I felt that way was watching 2001: A Space Odyssey or Pink Floyd: The Wall. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate Ergo Proxy, it was just weird.

I finished watching Danganronpa 3 The end of Hope's Peak Academy Future and Despair Arcs and I am looking forward to watching the final episode of Danganronpa 3. Having knowledge of the events and characters from the first Danganronpa, Danganronpa 2 and Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls will help to have a better understanding about what is going on and some events that are referenced.

Okay so I started Oreimo and I've now seen 7 eps, got to say not exactly the best way to spend a long weekend. I don't hate it but it isn't anything like what I was hoping it'd be. I don't really like any of the characters and there is a severe lack of comical scenes despite being labelled a comedy. But at the same time I don't hate it, I mean I have just watch 6 eps pretty much in a row. Currently I'm rating this a 5 because it isn't as bad as it could be but isn't as good as I wanted it to be. I probably will stall the franchise after I finish the first season so I'll need something new in a few eps time.

Unfortunately I have to download Bleach again so I had to put it on hold. Watched Gokusen in it's place. Now I am starting the first season of Free. I may start watching Bleach again. I have up to episode 265. I'm on episode 131.

Assassination Classroom seasons 1 & 2. It was a good anime with a good ending. Also Angel Beats suggested by Kaede. It was good.

    Currently Watching: Saekano

It makes a bit uncomfortable with some of the scenes...
    the closeness I mean.

Other than that a cute show that speaks in jargon most of the time/detail of things.

Finally finished downloading Bleach. I will be going back to watching that again. I will also be watching season 2 of Free. I fell in love with the first season. It was funny. Can't wait to watch it.

That's an old post you dug up. April 2013. I wonder what happened to it because there were 2 quotes from other people in it which have disappeared and turned into normal text making it look like i typed it.
Back to your point, yeah i agree. SAO is a great show to start with. I think many shounens are.

Haven't posted in this thread in a while, i'm currently not watching any anime. I have Gintama on hold, only have one season left, which is about 50 eps, had to put the weeklies i tried watching on hold due to lack of time. Currently watching the ''miniseries'' Shogun, which was made in 1980. About John Blackthorne, an English merchant living around the year 1600, who arrives in Japan due to a shipwreck. Japan, which was very unknown to the outside world at the time and has been in civil war for centuries, which would eventually result in the Tokugawa shogunate. It's based on the adventure of William Adams and his crew. It's very interesting and i recommend it to anyone who is interested in the Japanese culture and history.

    Currently watching Gakkou Gurashi

To anyone wanting to watch this, it's been licensed by Sentai, so it may be dubbed in the future. However, if you're going to watch it now, my advice is to avoid ANN, MAL, AniDB, etc and anything that may give you an inkling about what this series is about. In other words, go in blind. I swear, I haven't had this much fun watching an anime since PMMM

Give it AT LEAST until the end of the first episode. It'll hit you like a train

I'm currently checking out Space Carrier Blue Noah. It's ok, so far. Just got done with Big O, High School DxD BorN, and all caught up on Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans.

I haven't seen the last episode yet. I just kinda quit watching, I got bored because death has no meaning in it. It quit pulling on my heart-strings part way through the series.
