Well, it's entertaining at least, they showed a few good fights, the past of most characters and new power ups, your call if you want to read it again or not

I figured, because of Haineko right? I was only interested in the serial killer and then with the extension of the filler they ruined him too, it bloody sucked seeing him care for a baby and getting along with his should reaper.
Exactly, don't stop the only fights I've been interested in the entire time for bloody filler. Now I almost don't care what happens with Ichigo. I just want my lazy captain vs lazy #1 hollow guy. I like them both [for now] so I want them to be focussed on.

Ah you better not, unless you've seen the rest of Bakuman. Without having watched any of it the episode would just be a cameo ep, and let's face it that would be an insult to such a refreshing show.

Good to know that you're going to finish it. Mushishi was an interesting series, and although I was late to the fan base I am kind of sad that it is completely finished.

I think I'm going to take a break from Fushigi Yuugi for a little bit and watch something else. I decided I am going to watch Angelic Layer. For some reason I haven't been able to get into Fushigi Yuugi though I watched like 20 episodes of it.
I may also watch Naruto Shippuden again. I'm on episode 33 of that. Although I have seen episode 33 before. I did do a rewatch since I stopped watching at like episode 124.

Would you recommend the dubbed or subbed version of Bakuman more?

@jmriz I know we don't chat much or anything but I thought you'd know me better than that by now. Obviously I'd recommend the sub because I watched it that way, but I must say one more thing "it has a dub?"
From memory I think it may have been half dubbed or something but never completed, I don't know, I don't exactly feel like looking up another disappointing english cast of a show I liked.

Oh yeah, I watched Children who chase lost voices the other day. What a beautiful anime, animation wise as expected of Makoto Shinkai. As a whole it was disappointing, characters I didn't care for, plot that jumped around and just removed characters when it felt like doing so. The ending.... I'll leave my thoughts as okay....
I gave it a 6 because I wasn't exactly bored but it definitely wasn't what I wanted. It was how I wanted it animated just not the watch I thought it'd be.

i just finished Chaos dragon and Bahumat the undefeated chronicle
i personally thought chaos dragon was trying to take what was good about Aka game Kill
and just pack it into 12 episodes.
don't get me wrong brilliant story and lovely artwork
Bahumat was a decent anime but they could have done more with the action scenes
overall i had good time if anyone has any suggestions please message me

Would be glad to give some recommendations!!! If you are looking for a funny and innocent and very heartfelt anime, I would recommend Barakamon, Usagi Drop, any Studio Ghibli film( especially Up From Poppy Hill and When the Wind Rises), Clannad ( and After Story, but be prepared with several tissues boxes!!!), SKET Dance, Sakamichi no Apollon.... look some of these up and then PM me if their not the exact kind of anime you want, if you want some more recs., or to just talk about anime, I am available pretty much all the time during the summer and will be on the forums every day.

P.S. It's sooooo great that you are watching anime with your wife, i find that kind of rare among anime fans!!!

I have very mixed feelings regarding Planetes. At the start the pace of the series is very slow and the first half of it is just episodic stories (backstories). The problem is that some episodes are awesome and some super boring or might even say irrelevant and dumb. On the other hand, I heard people found those episodes funny.. so who knows maybe for you it will be funny too? Anyway, the real deal is the 2nd half of the series and I have to say it was very pleasant ride since we finally added all points on the i and got actual plot revealed. Maybe drama parts were a bit over the top, but its purpose was have characters grow and develop into better people. I didnt expect I could find an anime about space trash collectors to be that intense and interesting, so for the originality that was already +1. I suppose the focal point of the anime was character grow and show how poor countries get overshadowed by rich ones and it definitely delivered.

Nothing close to the level of Space Brothers are some people say, but it was worth the watch. 8/10 (Dubs were good btw)
