What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Just finished Paradise Kiss. I really enjoyed that series. I wish there was more. Going to also read the manga! Next up is Brother's Conflict.

 

I have started watching koutetsujou no kabaneri. I enjoyed the first episode.

 

I also just started watching "Koutetsujou no Kabaneri". The first episode was great and I really enjoyed it. Iv'e created a thread in the SOS Brigade under the New Release Club so that everyone can begin discussing it as it continues to air. Hopefully i'll see some of you there. Now back to re-watching that first episode so as not to miss anything

Finally was able to get my hands on Corpse Party: Tortured Souls. I have been searching for it for ages. I have now finished watching them last night.

 

Shit, you asked me about that didn't you? And that was a while back... sorry...

 

Nah nah All good. I just remember you saying that Corpse Party was a good Anime for Horror and stuff when i first logged onto this site so I though you might know where I could have gotten my hands on them. No need to apologise.

Actually, do you know of any other Anime that is similar to Corpse Party? If so, could you message mii please? I've been searching but I end up with stuff I have already seen like Another, Higurashi and Shiki.

 

Hmmm... I can't think of much tbh...
I watched Tokyo Ghoul when it was airing, which was censored as hell, but it might be uncensored now?
@Supernatural-Knight would be a better one to ask I reckon.

Oh, and if it doesn't need to be anime, I could recommend the Saw movies for a good fix of gore~~ :3

I'm currently in the process of watching Seisen Cerberus: Ryuukoku no Fatalités, Hundred, Big Order, Joker Game, Kiznaiver, Kuromukuro, Bungou Stray Dogs, Sousei no Onmyouji, Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta?, Boku no Hero Academia, Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu, and Koutetsujou no Kabaneri. I wasn't going to watch Kiznaiver, but really glad I changed my mind.

 

I was watching beyond the boundary when my wife got interested in it and started watching it (this was here first anime) and I told her that I would find something that I thought she would watch and came across dusk maiden so this was her first full from beginning to end anime. Needless to say we both loved it. This anime is an emotional roller coaster a real tear jerker that also can make you laugh and smile and you can't help but get attached to the charecters. I highly recommend this series to all.

 

Both of those are great series. It's warming to hear that you were able to enjoy both of them with a loved one. Also totally agree Dusk Maiden is a emotional roller coaster. And yes it's very hard not to grow attached to the characters. It's just kind of a let down they didn't make a sequel to it. Maybe it's for the best that they don't do that. though.

 

Yes a sequal would be neat to see but to me their story if good were it's at. For me I have never watched read or heard any peace of art that has moved me like this did in regards to my wife in particular. Being a Military Combat vetran I know what it is to feel like Yuuko did in not wanting Teiichi to hurt and dround in pain over her passing. It has made me very aware of my not wanting anything to pull me and my wife apart. I know that a lot of people think this series is mediocre but to me in my current status in life it was very touching and deeply moving. I guess that's the point of true art.
