What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Finished latest Yuyushiki, up to episode 101 of Cardfight!! Vanguard and episode 2 of Shin Koihime Musou
I swear to Godoka you people have way too much spare time.
It's not that I have free time, I'm just kinda lazy.

 

Through 14 episodes of Marmalade Boy.

All I gotta say is i'm going to have so much fun writing this review, it's saddening.

I want to give this elite status so far, I really do, but:

a) The general plot is way too predictable. For a drama, that's major point losses.

b) The pacing is way too slow. Sometimes entire episodes go by and little to nothing changes. Too many "flashbacks" and they last for too long.

c) Animation is sub-par at best. This is a little "iffy" though. I don't know exactly when this was made or what company designed it, but it reminds me a lot of His and Her Circumstances which wasn't exactly the best animation display around...

Other than those, I'd say the characters have been great so far. Well, only 62 more episodes to go!

 

Another 7 episodes of Legend of the Galactic Heroes done. Only 43 episodes to go, so i'm really in the final run now! lol Shesh this anime just keeps going and it's still maintaining a lvl of brilliance thru out. There have been many animes i've watched in the past that have made me reluctant to go to bed, just one more episode is very much a mantra we all shout when watching anime in fact, but to be able to maintain such a feeling, such a desire, still after 67 episodes is one heck of an accomplishment, in my opinion.

 

@blurredexistence I'm not sure if I told you or not but for the love that is everything holy DO NOT look at the end of episode previews. The narrator actually has the gall to start forshadowing several episodes ahead of you which is lunacy because he was doing great without that.

I wish I remember where it is in the confict that you are in right now. The amount of detail that went into it is amazing. It even goes as far as showing the weakness of disjointed democracy against the determined might of a able autocracy. Crazy politics mixed in total war . What is there not to love?

@Doomguy: No worries about that man, the translator for the version i'm watching can't be arsed with those it seems so while i can still watch the images and smeg going on there's no subs for the speech so i might as well be watching a totally unrelated puppet show!

As for where i am they've just launched the second Ragnarok Expedition... well that's where i was last night anyway, i'm just about to start watching them again now so i'll probably be a bit further a long in the story.

That's what i'm loving as well man! It's flippin' brilliant to actually  watch something that can happily point out all the flaws in democracy and how badly corrupted the people at the top can make it while still shouting out how it's for freedom, liberty and the rights of it's citizens. I can't tell you how much of a turn off it is for me every time i watch anything (usually from America) that goes on about Democracy as if it's the perfect system and can do no wrong.

I just watched all twelve episodes, consecutively, of The Unlimited: Hyoubu Kyousuke. It was a fantastic watch and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys action and ESPers.

 

I watched 1 episode of the Kill Me Baby dub and well...
Still trying to find a Steven Foster dub I actually like.
Don't get me wrong it's not bad, it's just it's not an anime that should be dubbed, it should have been released as a sub only.
Which is disappointing considering my favourite VA Luci Christian is playing a main.

Why poor me?
I thought it was a good film, and I'm excited for FUNi to dub 3.0 so I can watch it.

Today I watched the Strike Witches OVA.
I only lasted 5-10 minutes before I shut it off.
I just couldn't stop laughing.
Because of this quality:

@Sir-Maddy, it's just that i didn't like it at all

 

@batosai I always have liked One Piece i remember watching it back on 4Kids and their bad dub and then again on Toonami. I havent watched it since Toonami ended, so seeing that its back again i felt i should catch up and thus this where i am nyow enjoying just as much as i did then nya.

 

Cool It's my favorite anime. Caught up to it like not even a year ago. Was the most fun anime to catch up to. Never had a moment that i didn't enjoy.
