What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Finished Umineko no Naku Koro ni, not what I was expecting but oh well, same for Rozen Maiden Season 3, finally watched it after so long, also caught up with new release anime, finished Cowboy Bebop and it's movie, same for Naruto: Shippuden Road to Ninja and The Last, they were entertaining, I've got a lot of watching to do and one of them is a certain magical girl anime, guess I'll watch that one then

 

I finished Say I Love You yesterday and still watching Naruto on episode 131. Probably going to watch Paradise Kiss since I haven't watched it in full yet. Going to restart it.

 

I've been watching Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. Supposed to be based on that classic book from back then. The only twist is that instead of taking place in those aristocratic times, it's instead in the future (but keeping the aristocrats). I've never read the source material or know much about it so I can't compare it to it.

Oh boy, I don't know what kind of liberties the anime took but I love what I'm seeing so far! The Count is an obvious figure to try to pay attention to but I'm not sure what his game is yet. I know that the story itself was a classic tale of revenge. I think I can see that but I have no idea why. The narrative is from the pov of the son of one of the aristocrats. He acts like a spoiled child predictably. He's not inherently bad though, just incredibly naive. That's fine, if anything the show requires his naivete to make everyone else very strong side characters.

The art is one of the strangest things I seen. Particular the clothing. It... reflects light? Really weird, it's like they wear glow in the dark suits in the future. It doesn't bother me, actually I kind of look forward on what kind of ridiculous getup they'll wear during the episodes...
(That's another thing, they actually don't wear the same clothes all the time. It's the little things that count )
Will update my final thoughts on this one when I'm done.

 

Just finished Pokemon Movie 18 and Tamayura Movie 2, that eased my mind a bit

 

Alright I wrapped up The Count of Monte Cristo. I really liked this show, I give it a very good 8. The first half really hooked me pretty good. I can't help but feel that there was a shift during the rush towards the ending. Less emphasis on the Count and more on Albert the character the story is told from. This really helped him grow as a character (he was an example of annoying spoiled brat). However this took away from the real spotlight of the show, the Count.

So I'll have to dock a couple points for not reaching it's potential. Still really good stuff, I recomend it. Reminds me of Le Chevalier D'Eon which has that French aristorcrat thing going on. Good atmosphere going on in these anime.

Didn't solve my need to listen to a good soundthough. Looks like I'm going to rewatch RahXephon, it's been a while.

 

I recently finished SAO!! That was pretty good. But I think the second season was just dragging it out just a little bit.
Also I am half way throw Darker Than Black S1. That's amazing. They're just some of the many. cx

 

I'm currently watching one of the anime I have downloaded today, the subbed version of 11 eyes. So far... it looks pretty interesting but I am unsure of the plot as of yet... but I'm only on episode 4... so hopefully it's one of those anime that fully explains what's happening in the climax.

 

I just finished watching Assassination Classroom and Diabolik lovers. I'm almost finished watching 11eyes.

Believe me I want a second season as badly as I want a fourth season to Black Lagoon. I simply love these types.

 

It's not that they don't look after their health they simply can't. They don't have any choice but to meet the industries dead lines or risk getting fired or replaced. There are writers/drawers who literally get less than 3-4 hours sleep over the course of 5-6 days. It's just awful. If I can find some interviews of some writers i'll share the links. Know iv'e seen a few but i'm going to have to search for them.

 

I am currently watching season 2 of Durarara and season 2 of Seraph of The End: Vampire Reign.

 

I recently finished Zeta Gundam and started Gundam ZZ. I've also been watching One Punch Man and Un-Go. One Punch Man is flippin' brilliant.

 

Just finished Black Bullet, Hellsing + Ultimate, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, and Teknoman. Now, I'm watching Gangsta.

 

Loved Gangsta cant wait for more !!!

I am currently AKAME Ga Kill and also slowly re-watching the avatar last air bender....

Also finished watching Darker then black series That was GREAT!

 

Yeah, Akame Ga Kill is pretty entertaining. Never saw Darker Than Black yet. Just picky, I guess.
