GREAT! My love of Vampires has never failed me, any time I get into an anime with Vampires, I always like the anime at least enough to rate it a 7.0 but this one? So much pointless death and the only thing it's got goin for it is the mystery but WHAT mystery? It's clearly spelling out for us the viewer HEY, HELLO these beings are the cause of all of this! The only mystery is for the villagers and this ain't fun for me, to make matters worse, the pink haired girl (It'd be nice if I wasn't bad at remembering names -_-) got killed off in ep 1 and she was THE MC of that ep! The only mystery this anime has for the viewer is making u wonder if this group of beings are the ones who're really doing this, or if it's the other group who seems to be working for the 1st group and if it ain't them then who or what is it? That's the only real mystery and this ain't executed well at all. I've seen 4 eps of 22 and tbh, 22 eps seems way too much, hence further making me wonder if there's more here than meets the eye. (No copyright infringement or pun intended for transformers lol) U know what, Mafia would enjoy this anime, I just know it. lol

I'm 2 eps in (Dub fyi) and I HATE when the animation looks blurry at 720P or above, that said, this so far has been QUITE Good. Way more enjoyable than the above anime *cough*Shiki*cough* but guess we';; see if it's still good later on or not, after all, it's 40 eps long (9-10 mins pr ep) and I got 38 more to see.

@kaylentine while I love Clannad, tis not one I'm willing to do an exchange for u watch this anime and I'll watch this one, sorry. lol I'll get to the Bake and Nise anime eventually, if I watch any other ones related to those anime it's anyone's guess but yea, if ya do watch Clannad, ya gotta watch After Story too. Clannad by itself is pretty average, but when combined with what should've been in the 1st season, it's unbelievably awesome. hem, I think I hear a cat bell coming to what I just said, guess Mafia is nearby.

@Mafiacow but see that's the prob, do u honestly think guys are going to say they love cat boys? Maybe a small percent sure, but mostly it's just cat girls and while it pains me to say this, that's because of the moe and selling them... I can't say more cus too painful, I love cat girls myself, but I wouldn't mind seeing more support for catboys but alas, that prolly won't happen anytime soon and I'm ok with that tbh. lol

meh, I think your point doesn't hold water Nyafia. lol After all, MOST new anime fans as u called em, people who are just getting into anime SADLY don't have a mal let alone use it and yet, look here SAO S1 alone is Ranked #447 with these

even I rated it an 8.0 and would've rated it MUCH higher had they of split arc 1 & 2 into S1 & S2 but instead they combined S2 with S1.
And this is just S1 alone, I'm not even bothering to look at S2 (GGO arc) or the ovas or nothing, hell, I'm STILL waiting for Funi/Toonami to hurry the hell up and rlease the last half of S2 (GGO)'s dub.

Now if anyone wants to debate this then by all means go ahead for even I now MAL is not always right, more so since we all have different tastes but even so the majority seems to love SAO and it ain't just cus it's a "mainstream" thing. Plus, mainstream means it's popular, if it wasn't, people wouldn't watch it nor would it be good.

A bluray release of this boyo wouldn't go amiss there Funi. With dub if ye would. Gotta get some efing and blinding in there.

Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou I loved ep 1, and ep 2 as well, even if both eps had 1 scene I disliked each, oh and the OP song is awesome AND funny to boot.

Shiki / I still dislike this anime's "story" and it's direction, so much that I haven't bothered to see ep 5 and I honestly ould drop this right now if not for my own curiousity of wanting to see what happens next now that Megumi Shimizu has been "resurrected" as I knew would happen eventually. She's the only real reason to continue watching this anime, or was I should say since it's clear she ain't the same anymore. Guess this ep will determine whether I truly do drop this or not.

Would watch if it was online like it should be!

That's what I was afraid of and saw coming, twas the only one I really wanted to watch but decided to wait for the uncensored bds. Besides, Testament was bad enough on it's censorship, didn't need a 2nd one so soon, or at all for that matter. lol

The anime I passed on? *Looks into, sees it's a sol* Whelp, not going to lie, looks great, just, the sol genre is not something I need more of, more so since this one looks like it's a cute girls doing cute things. lol

So, Shiki, I will watch ep 5 but, I gave in and clicked on the spoilers for the Shiki family, ya know, the ones that supposedly started this mess and, let's just say, there really is no point in continuing a series like this unless you want to see nothing but heart break and blood shed and clearly I do not.

Ya, I was right, there is NO mystery here folks! The only mystery is for the anime chars in the anime itself, we the viewers don't get any real mystery here, further more, the spoilers for said chars say this, and mention enough blood shead to turn me away but really, the fact I was right alone in that it is a boring meaning less story is what's turned me away. The REAL STAR of this anime is Megumi Shimizu who sadly was killed and turned into a Shiki and had her personality greatly changed and she's the ONLY REASON I intend to watch ep 5. After that, I'm through, esp knowing what her fate sadly is. Ima drop this and rate it so low, prolly a 1, maybe a 2 for the shear greatness of the art and char style, but it is being rated so low for it's crappiness. Ya know what, screw MAL's rankings, 400 and something my ass!

A lot of anime, a few shorts from series I'd finished others I was close to finishing but can't finish due to what's currently being watched but don't get me wrong, I may've put them on hold but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy them cus I do and they're quite good. Given this, I'll prolly only say when I complete one of these anime I put on hold. lol

Guess it must be, since ya didn't add bro to it. lol That said, I really should get around to continuing it, maybe after I finish a few of these 50+ long ep anime I can then start it.

Super Sonico: The Animation - I loved everything about this show. Sonico and Suzu are two of my favorite characters in anime, their band is awesome, the voice acting is perfect, animation/art direction is perfect. Only thing I would of done differently is have another scene with Sonico and Toma, but maybe they were saving that in case it gets another season. Hopefully, cause I really want a season two. It was very refreshing to watch a show with no real antagonists, no real problems, where you could just relax and enjoy some of the funnest characters around. Almost every episode is fun but they do serious moments very well, one of my favorite anime's of all-time. I highly recommend it.

Highschool DxD Born episode 11 - Real lack of nudity the last few episodes, it doesn't even feel like an ecchi anymore. Getting to the end of this season thankfully, I don't know how much more of this disappointment I can take. The final battle looks interesting and I like what their doing with Rias but saying anymore would spoil it. Overall boring episode. The fact that Irina and the white/grey haired chick aren't even there for the final battle is incredibly lame. Why even add them to the OP/ED and promo pics if their going to do nothing all season. Probably the most disappointing season of any anime series ever.

Sword Art Online II episode 14 - Another episode that Asuna was only in for about two minutes. It's so frustrating watching SAO because they go out of their way to avoid the obvious. Sometimes something is obvious because it makes so much sense that you can't not do it, yet SAO never goes the obvious direction. Kirito is in a fight for his life in the virtual world, his wife is waiting for him by his side in the real world and once the fights over they don't show him waking up and what should have been a very emotional re-union. Instead they make the episode all about Sinon whose real life personality is boring. Then this breh Kirito got the nerve to introduce his wife as if she's just another player. Smh. End of the episode was good though now if they can just move on finally I'm beyond tired of GGO.

I dropped Shiki. Rated it a 1.5 and if it weren't for a small number of chars (Mainly Megumi) and the art style I would've rated it a 1.0. I watched 5 eps, don't care for this at all or the way it was handled. I also know plenty of sad/pointless deaths are coming later in this anime since I read the MAL spoilers on the shiki chars pages. Never have I disliked an anime that had vampires in it.
