That actually I think works pretty well. Bakemono + Nisemono is equivalent to one Clannad season, and Nekomono and Second Season are pretty much equivalent to one Clannad season.

O K! Right off the bat our MC has totally lost it. what's that sentence Maddy loves to use that now most people use now? Oh, dats a right, shit taste. SAO isn't average by any means, the proof is in the ratings, how many people hype it up and in how it's got a lot to the anime and most importantly proof wise, in how it has 2 video games here in the US and other parts of the world. Most anime games stay in Japan, sadly... why the puella games stayed there is beyond me.

Ah Sunday without work Most were good but so far Gangsta and Gatchaman Crowds Insight are the two most notable. Gate gets an honorary mention for the quite accurate depiction of the JSDF's equipment. Not often ye see Type 64 battle rifles in, well, anything really. Wonder why they weren't using the more modern Type 89 considering that is what is generally issued to front line and other units that expected to see combat? Cool either way.

 

Forgot to reply to this, but honestly "hot" antics don't appeal to me either. Fighting over guys is not something that interests me in the least, and I'd prefer to avoid it completely.

People tend to not create catboys because it's not a majority of the market. It's a standard business model. If people who like catgirls state that they'd like catboys too, THEN we'd be seeing more of them. But, it's a vicious cycle because there aren't enough catboys for people to see and appreciate.

That's not proof of quality; it's just mainstream. It's one of those anime that people tend to watch when they're just getting into anime, and thus have no acquired taste to do anything other than rate it highly.

Yes, YOUR standards. YOU are the one who was going on and on about how I "don't count" in the group of "everyone" because of your endless list of "reasons". One of my uni friends last year said "Everyone cries at Clannad", but at least he didn't try to cherrypick results when I told him I didn't, instead replying with "Woah man, you're hardcore."
And I don't recall any other instances of "everyone *blah blah blah*"?

Omamori Himari. Yeah, I highly doubt I will. Btw, you said something like that about Rosario & Vampire too, but the only redeeming features were a couple of the characters, and not by much. I just don't tend to enjoy ecchi or harem.

Wow, she was literally offering to watch the anime you've been begging her to... I think the above post by her is a good deal, the first two Monogatari for the first Clannad.

I'm hoping this gets better but, ep 2 meh, ep 3, so terrible! -_- I plan to give it a 4th ep a chance, just incase there's any hope for this but yea, I may drop this, and I rarely drop anime.

Sooo, welcome to the NHK has seriously redeemed itself after that god awful ep 3 and it did it with ep 4 and has continued to stay awesome thus far. I'm on ep 8 now and I'm loving this anime. However I'm still weary as I've heard ep 9 and onward are different from the 1-8 eps and a show like this I can see taking a turn for the worse if not careful. @Mafiacow ya don't gotta worry bout answering my question regarding the NHK. lol

 

Started Bikini Warriors, MonMusu & Teekyuu 5. Finished Re-Kan!, I cried a few times, but still one of those anime I'll probably forget about.

 

Highschool DxD Born episode 10 - Not liking this season much which is disappointing cause this was one of my favorite shows in the first two seasons. I expected Irina to join the harem since she's in the OP/ED, the promo pics, etc but her role is the same as before, there's been seemingly way less nudity this season, the story is moving way to fast, and the art looks worse than the previous seasons. Hopefully the last two episodes will redeem it a bit but I can't see that happening.

Sword Art Online II episode 13 - Where's Asuna. Seriously, the one good character in the series has had probably less than 10 minutes of screen time half way through the season. Looks like this GGO arc is finally almost over. I still like this show for some reason but Asuna definitely needs to go back to being a main character after this arc.

Welcome to the NHK / I rated this one an 8.5 and I'd been wondering when the next great anime I'd see would be, little did I know it'd be this one. I knew I'd like it and had a feeling by a lot but I love this anime. I can't say much more as to why without spoiling but trust me, ya get past that god awful ep 3 and it'll only get better as it goes. I just wish there was more since I see the manga ended like a year after the anime adap finished airing so clearly there's more to the story, even if it did feel like it got a decent ending. It's funny that this doesn't have the genre of a slice of life when it focuses on so many rl sitches.

@Mafiacow if there's anything u wish to know regarding me and this anime, just ask me. @kaylentine Let me be honest with ya, I honestly dunno if ya will like this anime or not, I admit, I was hasty, too hasty in what I'd said before on it and you not liking it. That said, I do have to say, it is prolly best if ya do give this anime a chance, that you watch it after you've watched at least 50 but preferably 100 different anime. I say this for one of the reasons this was so good is that it breaks away from the typical stuff that happens/is said in anime; thus, most of the time I who has seen well over 100 different anime and has grown so accustomed to so many of the same scenes/thigns done/said that I wasn't able to predict what was gunna happen or be said and quite often at that; it really made me enjoy the anime more, although I would've enjoyed it either way it does add that extra enjoyment factor. It's not everyday u find an anime like the NHK.

Saw a little Heroic Age again. Always did like the soundtrack of that show.
