What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

just finished vampire knights, i cant say i loved it but it was better than i expected it to be.

 

I've been watching random hentai I find, good god man.

 

And I put all my personal Toonami shows on hold too. All except one (D. Conan) but if I don't watch it this Sat or Sun at the latest, it's going on hold too.

I don't like it when my friends or anyone really lies to me Maddy. I know you hate Kämpfer and that's perfectly fine with me, really it is, but you did tell me long ago that you watched it all, and liked the lesbian kisses that were in it. Now if that was truly a lie, then you have no need to hate Kämpfer cus u haven't seen it, but u did see it, so don't try and deny that. Either way, I won't pursue this further cus I know u saw it.

*gives a thumbs up* I myself got 10 or 15 new ones I gotta watch by the end of the year in order to complete my new year's resolution since soonish I'll have finished the other 75% of it and just have that last 25% to go. I knew Hentai would be there real challenge. lol

U should use MAL (U can see the site in peep's sigs), it'll help u to know lots of things, for example, the anime u want a season 2 of, has 2 movies, the 1st is a recap of season 1, but the 2nd is the direct continuation of the 1st season/movie. It may not be a season 2 but, wish is granted via continuation. Also the anime has a few short spin offs worth seeing.

It had tons of comedy, I laughed so much, but comedy has many forms and everyone doesn't like some types of comedy.

*raises an eyebrow* U know Knight, u seem to have taken an interest in romance here lately. 1st that psychic wars movie, now Nana, btw, I doubt u'll like Nana if u didn't like the 1st 2-3 eps that much. Those were some of the best eps. The rest... were good but had a lot of drama, and romance.

 

So I pulled the trigger and started watching Initial D, an older anime but I'm not one to shy from such things.

Wow, I'm impressed so far from this. For something that's completely about car racing this anime really got me to take interest with it's characters. With the first one out of the way I'm delving into the second one. The pacing in this anime is excellent, it has to be one of the best I've seen. Just when I start to suspect that I'm "might" start to get bored of the constant races, a new character development kicks in to grab my interest.
Well played, let's see if this can keep up throughout it's long series.

 

I haven't seen it, I've only seen the lesbian scenes and the f**king scene where Prez is like "it's time for you to go" "Go where?"

 

Nope. Just scrolled through the last page and there was nothing of the sort.

 

Just finished Second Stage, this show is getting better and better. I don't just mean my attachments with the characters either, even the art is taking on a unique style that fits the whole racing thing.

I'm enjoying this so much more then I even hoped for. I just have to remember I'm not half the driver I think I am

 

Watching Kill la Kill. I swear I can feel my tongue rolling into the back of my throat as I watch it.

The World God Only Knows: Goddesses + the 4 OVA eps (All dubbed) / Quite a few things I'd like to say, some spoilers so I won't other than some of the chars were freaking awesome in this series, esp S3. (Goddesses) Keima did something in around ep 5 that carried over into 2 more eps, I TRUELY loved what he did there, tis a shame he reverted back but, it was just for his conquest and I'm happy it carried into more than a single ep. Hawkqua was awesome, more so in later eps. Not enough Kanon or Elise...ok, the latter was just right cus she had tons of screen time in the rest of the series anyway and this gave Hawkqua more time to shine so all is good imo.

Now, there are two things I'm sad to have to say, the beginning of S3, shows Keima has conqured many more girls, including 1 older woman. These girls were not given much screen time (Yeah I know, least they bothered to quickly show them but still...) and from the research I've done, S3 basically just skips a lot of the manga (Hence the quick intro for these girls) and it should be noted that most of the girls who had nothing to do with S3, were barely mentioned/shown, yes including the older woman sadly. But lots of awesome stuff was shown and I hope someday they'll make the other girls' arcs who didn't get an anime dedicated to them like many of the other girls will get an anime someday and we get to see more Keima, Elsie, Hawkqua etc. too. So yea, I wasn't happy they skipped so many of these girls, but the anime was well worth watching despite this so don't let that stop ya fom watching this awesome series, and don't let the harem tag stop ya either, this is hardly a harem to begin with and defys so many of the principals of 98% of all harem out there but in a good way.

The 2nd thing I didn't like is valid though, Keima and crew is in a race against time, 1 week, that's all they have, I won't say why. Because of this though, near the end is rushed, Keima is making a few rash decisions rather than keeping his full cool, this isn't bad perse, just annoying to see. However the real rush comes at the end where there's supposed to be an epic battle, only we're shown bits and pieces of this epic battle, which from what was shown was not so epic but hey given S3's story, u EXPECT an epic battle so it's not that bad but still hurts to see it rushed when they really needed 1 more ep to flesh it out just right, maybe 2 more. The ending Ima put in a spoiler.

So, according to MAL, Keima is suppoed to be doing all this in hopes of being freed from his loose souls hunting contract, but no such thing, instead he does all this cus one of the girls he conqured got hurt and in order to save her ya get it. The ending shows him still loose soul hunting, it ends on a uncompleted note but somehow complete and while Elsie says he's back to normal (Keima) it seemed more like he changed and even accepted this new line of work, so yea, this is both bitter and sweet. I REALLY want more of this series. Interesting how the anime S3 finished airing 1 year before the manga so hopefully there'll be more but from what I heard, it's doubtful.

In the end, I really did enjoy this series and seriously want more.

U know, I'm still watching all the airing anime but if I catch up, I dunno what I'll watch next, well, guess I'll start on some of the anime I put on hold like the sacred blacksmith for example will prolly be next for me to finish watching. After all, Kill la kill, Freezing vibration and now the world god only knows goddesses + the 4 ovas have all been watched, and they were the 3 anime I had to see the most besides the airing anime which is one reason of many as to why I had to put so many anime on hold, but now, one anime at a time.

@Sir-Maddy I see, then as I said before, that means u have no reason to hate what you have not seen. As for the scenes, I remember the lesbian kisses, but not that other scene u mentioned.

@Mafiacow I see, coulda sworn... ah well. Also, your avi is kawaii. Anymore kawaii and ima have a kawaii overload. lol

@Supernatural-Knight Now that's the Knight I know. I doth dub thee, love slayer. Hem, on 2nd thought u don't actually slay love, so, I dub thee, romance hater. Has a nice ring to it, no? As for me, I still love romance and can't get enough but harems... are beginning to take their toll on me and that is very sad. Not that harem was a fav of mine but any genre I used to like or do still but is taking a toll on me, no no no no no, just no, unspeakable! Thank Goddess for the harem that do things completely or in part differently, the above anime I just finished does it completely differently.

 

And you're a big Kampfer fan you say nyan~?

Huh.. OH! Took me a mo to realize what u meant by that. lol Well, in my defense, I'm only human and it has been like nearly 2 years no, maybe even 3 since I saw it. On top of that, my mem sucks. So many precious memories of all te glorious 100+ days of my life spent watching anime and it is very sad to know I don't remember each and every second of them anime.

In all honesty, it's been so long since I watched Kämpfer, I can't remember why I loved it so much... or that WOULD'VE been the case if not for Secret Princess Himegoto. I remember exactly why I love Kämpfer so much. Tons of comedy in the form of ecchi. Magical girls (eh, close enough anyway lol). And to add to boot, a gender bender, not to mention awesome OP/ED songs, animation and a decent enough story which should've been touched upon more in the form of a proper S2 or hell, a S3 at this point would also be fine. fyi to any reading, Himigoto doesn't have magical girls or gender benders, it does have the rest and a trap char as the main char though.

Man, took me long enough, I've finally finished Gargantia and also Gintama up until episode 201 a.k.afirst series, guess it's time to prepare for the next part, but first I'll watch some ecchi with Kenzen Robo Daimidaler, UNCENSORED!!!!!

On my next reply I'll reply to posters, right now, I just want to say, HELLZ YEAH! *fist pump* I finally have caught up with all the currently airing anime I have been watching. Now I can finally start on the 2nd half of the sacred blacksmith (Female MC reminds me sooo much of Misaka Mikoto) and then after that I decided to watch the ova to Infinite Stratos and it's 2nd season which were put on hold after I completed season one due to needing to watch them 3 anime I mentioned last time plus the airing anime.

Now, sadly, if come tomorrow and I still haven't watched a D. Conan ep then, I'll be putting it on hold too, which is sad cus it's the last of my personal Toonami shows I was watching and because there's now 777 eps and it's still going so I'd like to catch up soon rather than later. Speaking of conan, the disappearance of Conan special/movie finally got subbed so I plan to watch that in the nearish future. Hopefully if I do put Conan on hold, that spcial/movie will reignite my passion to watch it.

 

I'm currently trying to give Naruto another chance. My co-workers have convinced me that it gets better, so I'm trying to hang in there. =P
