What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

After finishing all of Natsume in 2 weeks, I can safely say I want more. I rated everything in the franchise an 8 and I will forever be anticipating more seasons of this show. Some of those eps were simply amazing. I also want more Kogitsune....
And finally after saying I should start it for so long I have got around to watching Bokurano. 4 eps in and it is interesting to say the least. My favourite part of it so far is still the opening but I've got a long way to go for it to impress me more.

 

@VeritasOdiumParit *cough*club activity*cough* It is a pretty good show by my standards and it is psychological in nature as well so you'd most likely enjoy it too. If you're not sold on watching the show, watch the one off OVA of it first that goes by the name of Death Billiards. It honestly doesn't matter if you watch it or not but it is one way to be a bit more sure about it.


My activity, I watched all of Gokusen over the last week and it was a surprisingly good watch. I was hesitant at first because at least one genre wasn't to my liking but it managed to make me laugh numerous times. @Batosai it is a different kind of teacher setting but I would consider this as an accurate recommendation for GTO. Perhaps you'll enjoy it.

Also I am a mere three eps away from finishing Bokurano which I plan on completing tomorrow. That show has so many twists I am continuously being caught off guard. While I wouldn't call it amazing I have enjoyed almost every moment of it once it got into the darker settings. At first I thought character development would be the weak point of it with having more than fifteen main characters but turns out that it is done well. Surprisingly enough the robot battles is where I have a few problems with this series. I never thought this series would have a few of these themes so I am happy to see myself be wrong about it. I'll probably rate this psychological tagged anime a 7.

 

@Batosai That is fine as long as you know about that show. I brought it up because I never take MAL recommendations too seriously but that is one that I can actually support.

About Gintama, there is no "if" it continues it does continue to be that great. Just wait until you reach my favourite serious arc, then we'll have something to discuss about it. Obviously this franchise has become one of my favourite anime of all time.

 

@OtakuSenseiHig So Bokurano is one of your favourite series huh? I liked it quite a bit but not enough to rate higher than 7. I also found myself laughing at the darker parts that weren't meant to be even slightly humorous just because how bad things got. I enjoyed how it effected people the most.
Although after reading character bios and noticing the end date of the manga I realised a lot of it is anime only content. I now want to read it to see what the original creator says happens. The only issue is that I don't like reading manga.
Also I now am curious, what other anime are on your favourites list?

My activity, I began watching Golden Time today because back when it was airing I dropped it after one episode. So I watched three eps in a row. It is decent enough to the point that I've forgot why I dropped it in the first place. I think it was simply because it wasn't what I wanted to watch at the time.

 

@OtakuSenseiHig that moment when I've seen all you listed apart from Detective Conan [which I plan to watch eventually] and Azumanga Daioh [which Mafia is trying to get me to watch]. Guess your favourites list doesn't help me find anything new to watch, so who's next?
