Been busy with Pokémon ORAS and other stuff recently. Making Kandy watch Bakemonogatari, which isn't even hard 'cause she wants to see Hanekawa and Shinobu. (And like I'd pass up an excuse for Hanekawa and Shinobu~~)

Oh, and Kandy confirmed for good taste!! Thoroughly likes Hanekawa, and thoroughly dislikes Bitchjougahara. Hachikuji; "Meh, I don't mind her." We're not sure if it's just my taste rubbing off though. X3

Also, Anime Club at uni had their After-Exams Party on Monday. Screened a bunch of anime, voted for by members. (Confirmed for shit taste again. Other options I remember were Haruhi and Daily Lives of Highschool Boys...)
Great Teacher Onizuka. Ep 1 I think. Good, do want continue.
Initial D. Ep 23 I gather. Totes bored, would not continue out of ten.
FMA: Brotherhood. Ep 5. Watching sub makes it feel different enough for me to want to get back into it...
Code Geass. Ep 1. Skipped; not any point in rewatching.
Death Note. Some ep. Skipped.
Clannad. Ep 17 I gather. Glad I was only in for a moment to check my laptop's downloading. The sub voices actually sound just as bad as dub. The actual anime was even more painful than I remember; So bad.
Soul Eater. Ep 1. Watched 'cause reasons. You know my reasons.
Attack on Titan. Some ep. Missed most of it, minus a Sasha scene. Not any point in rewatching.

 

continued beck and now at ep 15. the only regret that i did on this series was that i stopped yesterday at ep 11. tsk tsk tsk.. ep 12 was perfect enough for me to be able to sleep. its not because the ep was boring but that ep just gave me a peace of mind after watching it. by how i ended with ep 15, i wont be able to calm myself.

 

Ep 23 was racing in the rain with drifts or something.
It's not so much just that it's a sports-related anime, it's that it's CAR RACING. I have no interest in modes of transport, ESPECIALLY CARS; they get you from A to B, and I can't really see how people can take pleasure in that. I gave it a chance, and it threw it away. Still interested in trying that bike racing anime though.

now about that, i havent seen the entirety of the series so i cant say for sure if its great or bad. im still on the 15th due to life stuff messing up my schedule and i can say from there that its as realistic that i can get. so what am i saying here, well of course i find it enjoyable. i have compared this series to the other music anime that i watched and this one has the most count of music delivered on every episode. oh, i watched the series sub so i cant say anything about ayres being great here. from what i heard of him saying moon over water, his voice fits the tune.

 

Had a busy day yesterday and today, finally caught up with Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL II, plus watched latest Shirobako, Ore Twintails ni Narimasu, Amagi Brilliant Park, HappinessCharge Pretty Cure, Pokémon XY along with the 17th Pokémon movie, One Piece Film Z and Tamako Love Story, also watched episode 10 of Gosick

 

Tch. I just don't see the fascination with cars. There is no excitement in it.

One of the reasons probably it took me so long to get my license would be this; Driving is just so boring. I'd much prefer to just be driven places so I can do something fun on the trip.
I did notice that; the minimal character development I barely saw was slightly more interesting than the racing.
Oh, but I didn't really notice the music.
Good; when something has some comedy behind it, it is a good thing.

Fair enough. But you can't blame someone for liking Hanekawa more.

Hands down, this was the BEST anime I've seen in a LOONG TIME! Sure plenty I've rated a solid 8.0 but this one? No my friends and acquaintances, this was a a solid 8.5 and I loved nearly every min of it. Misa, oh how I loveth thee. That said, I watched this dubbed and still loved it. I also watched the two specials which equaled time wise 1 ep and those were subbed. They were good, both rated lower than the actual anime though but still quite enjoyable. (Mostly)

I also see Index II is up but ima wait for now, I need to get back to that other sub anime I put on hold for Maid-sama and the many airing currently anime I'm watching. (Besides, Index II is up ahead of schedule thus is prob a rib which may not contain all the material or be good quality etc.)
