What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Nice! It feels like its gone so fast since you started. I'm glad you changed your view on the series. The same thing happened to me. I used to think it was a dumb childish show and it would be nothing like One Piece. In the end i rate it higher than One Piece. And i still stand behind that decission. I guess i can't tell anyone now that the filler hell sucks anymore. Well i didn't watch it myself so it's only something i heard from people. Maybe you'll enjoy the Shippuuden fillers aswell then. I think they have more to do with the story than the (few) One Piece fillers and the many Bleach fillers.

The manga ended this week, so it wont be long for the series anymore. Especially seeing where they are now, it can't be long anymore. Got semi spoiled on the ending, people on Spor's forum didn't put spoiler tags. It wasn't something huge, but i didn't wanna know.

 

Hey... if I recall Mai-HiME was an anime original, and that's one of the best anime Sunrise has ever created.

Saber annoys me. Rider is awesome. The character development was fantastic. The ending was weird. Strangely, Ryunnosuke was the most entertaining character in the whole thing.

 

Damn right it is, and it deserves it's popularity.
It also put many Seiyuu's on the map and they started getting bigger roles.

Dude, it's so good, you have to watch it though avoid Otome.

Cross Ange is an enjoyable trainwreck, and the Nips seem to love it cause it's doing alright.
Then again, they eat up anything with Sunrise and Mecha.

 

Ikr. I enjoy some of those moments too, i guess it just portrays who Naruto Uzumaki is. He's a typical shounen MC, but one of the more enjoyable for me, like Luffy. It also helps there are some really badass and awesome characters around him.

It was a thread announcing the manga was gonna end, i already replied to it back then, but apparently that wasn't enough for them to realise i was gonna read the new posts too. They apologized and i know they didn't mean to.
So Shippuuden will take around another 2-3 months before you're done with it. I wonder if the show will be done by then. One thing that might be helpful, Shippuuden starts off VERY confusing. It starts with a scene that happens between ep 50-100 i think. I say this because when i started it i thought i was watching the wrong episode. It said ep 1 when i rechecked and i had to ask Ovyda what it was about. I think i stopped watching it at that moment and later i watched it with Ovyda together. It's a double ep i believe.

Been an eventful day off watching, had a buddy come over last night and we ended up watching anime most of the night and today. @Supernatural-Knight I would like to thank you fro recommending Needless to me a while back because i re-watched it with my buddy and he loved it. He likes more action (Naurto, DBZ, Inuyasha being most of what he's watched) so this helped. Also got him to warm up to comedy a bit more

And @Mafiacow so you don't have a cow i did start Corpse party, not till much later in the day but still. So far I'm liking it but hating it at the same time. The gore and atmosphere are great but the decisions of characters...... just kills me. So bad and obvious bad idea moments, I understand if everyone was just NOPE and booked it that it would be much of a show but have some sense! Separation never a good idea, door locked bust it down or bust window on lowest floor, scary shit headed your way MOVE, don't panic run and trip on nothing but be sprinting like you are in track! Over all i like it so far and surprised I'm not stopping to read the subs. So either they are getting pacing down or reading all the damn novels has made me a faster reader

A while ago I finished The devil is a part timer and Dusk maiden of amnesia. Now I started watching Freezing and I have mixed feelings about it. Any body got any input on it?

Bah, don't complain about the characters' decisions; it's kinda hard to keep a level head when you've been thrown into a haunted school where countless things are trying to brutally murder you. XP

Anyaway, here's what I've watched since my last post. Been trying to catch up on Akame. Had some friends over and we marathon'd the first two thirds of NGNL, and it was glorious. Then finished it with Kandy last night. Also watching RWBY with her 'cause she hasn't seen it. Just saw the episode where Weiss has her tsun transformation.

having played the game, i can pretty much relate to most of the things that you said. the characters sure are bad when making decisions. there is no happy end with every decision that you saw on the first OVA. the game kinda explained it a bit but its mostly make sense at the last episode.

well i started watching beck and im now on ep 6. only thing i can complain for now is the total character make over of Maho. first she was introduced as a bitch but then she turned into a sweet girl. dafak.

 

That' where i say RUN, have no clue where you are and place is creepy as hell? Head ot the near entrance you can make/find! But even for the bad decisions i enjoying it

Jut finished watch and from what I've gathered from the wiki and readings some background on the game series seems the OVA is in fact the combination of almost every possible bad ending, with the end being something Anime Original which i actaully like

Corpse Party OVA 2, 3, 4
Not exactly my best idea to watch these and 1-3 in the morning with every light in the house out XP They keep me guessing what's going on and had several twists i didn't expect. Still thought dem bad decisions..... WHEN is it EVER a good idea to piss off ghost when they are acting decent, smh teacher you dun messed up. Also @Mafiacow i can see where you think saa-chan is moe, well at least white saa-chan, red dress i was yelling "run you fools!" Over all I liked the OVAs and may even have an explanation as to one of events that happen but i'll save that for spoilers/later discussion

Golden Time episodes 1-25 ALL OF IT AT ONCE
After just watching Corpse Part i needed a bit of a change, Didn't really feel like re-watching anything and could decide what to watch (still waiting on funi to release second part of Index II dub..... Get your sh*t! together Funi!!!!!) then i remember why i watch toradora, the reviewer battle i saw between the two of them. As i've said before they are made by the same guys so i figured this should be interesting. It was, very interesting indeed. At first i thought wow this is like a toradora 2 or a spiritual successor to it, which one could argue it is as Tiaga and Koko look alike and the starting plot shares points: girl likes the best friend of the protagonist and tries to get closer via the best friend. But then it takes a more grounded tone and serious as it goes on. Tora did this too but not till much later and still had a good bit of comedy to lighten things up. Golden Time also did the love polygon thing better, than tora. Tora went from he likes her, she like him etc to MC harem-ish situation. While Golden Time actaully had it vary, A likes C B sercerty likes A C rejects A for D D likes E E is unsure of feelings so leaves D hanging and then everything gets mixed up rather than focus lead guy (Don't get me wrong i love me harems but they become more of which girl you want to win rather than the relationship)

Anyway short version I LIEK GODEN TIME and finished Corpse Party, Ironically enough both of these had be break dub to watch but i was okay with it

Edit: Dat moment when you find out Golden Time is getting a dub and would be released in Feb.......DAMN IT THIS IS THE 3RD TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!!! 1t i start DxD next day Dub announced, 2nd start finish Attack on Titan Dub announced next day.....

Edit2: seems i just to conclusions again it's just getting a DvD release with subs not dubbed yet T-T

Did you see the ending coming at all? I remember that I was desperately hoping for a bad end, and then I got incredibly suspicious when he said "I'll use my sister's." then there was the gloriousness~ Did you get that?

 

pick it up again. if enjoyed watching azumanga, lucky star, or kill me baby, i cant think of a reason why you wont enjoy this one too. i asked because of the polygon triangle that you said about golden time. if you think it was that confusing, try that one out.
