    Yeah but some of the buttons like the page number navigation ones need fixing. You can't read them at all. But besides that I love this throwback theme.

    Yea .... I fixed one part, which 'broke' another part, so I'll have to fix it directly rather than with the color pallets. I'll get to fine tweaking when I get some free time.

    I am clearly late in saying this, but I love the new look! Also not sure were to look on the forum here but what happened to the old site? I stopped going to the forum for work/ family heath reasons and when I get a chance to come back the whole site is gone. I know I missed a lot but if someone could PM me on what went down I would appreciate it!

    Do you mean Dubtopia or the original JD?

    If you mean Dubtopia this is Dubtopia we just changed names back to JD since we are the original JD.

    If you mean what happened to the original JD..... that is a long story.

    I was referring to the original JD when I left it was still Justdubs.net, as for the long story I just spent the last 2 hours combing though the forum and some archives on google so I think I get the jist of what transpired. Shame that had to happen but what can you do.

    From what noey said he got slapped with a court order to cease and desist. Not sure how true that was as it was reveled noey was trying to auction off the domain 9 months prior to jd.net closing. So he gave the community one week notice and then brought the site down. steveyk took it upon himself to revive the community under a new name. He eventually left when another admin did for various reasons like lack of personal time and getting annoyed with paying out of pocket for the site, since it wasn't supporting itself in the least.

    I took the site over about 6 months ago and implemented a lot of new changes. Finally got the site to a self sustaining point last month with adsense now paying for everything.

    Agreed and also, a BIG major congratulations and pat on the back to everyone involved who helped make this possible, I know some had it harder than others and it wasn't easy but this was a community effort is how I see it and I really am thankful for what everyone has done. Thank you for making it possible to still be here.

    Thought I mentioned something when we did our first prize contest for JDO, guess I neglected to mention that, whoops lol.

    Yeah all it takes is some good planning, organizing and following through on the changes I outline. I've ran multiple profitable sites and was telling Red and stevey numerous times about ways to improve so we could make money. No offense to them at all, but with them out of the admin positions we're now able to follow through on the plans I've had for the community for ages. And doing so made us profitable within a few months. As opposed to DT and DTR being around for over a year and us relying on donations or money from steveys pocket.

    And also giving up some of the duties on the site. Nobody can do everything on their own, even if you know exactly what to do. It's just impossible to assume that much work by yourself. It's a group effort and I'm appreciative of everyone who stepped up during this time. And it's not just the people who work on the site, it's you members too. We'd be nothing without you guys. So thanks for everything, every last one of you.
