    shorts are good and all only if they dont give an arc of a story. episodic is fine.
    specials, eh i tend to have a love/hate thing with it. cant point what it is that make is so at the moment but its what i feel for specials.

    The only specials I tend to despise are picture dramas. Those still slideshow-esque pieces of crap. Also specials of shows I hate already but that's got nothing to do with me being a completionist.

    The shorts are strong with this one. He would have made a good mascot for our shorts club a few years ago.

    What happens in Japan.... doesn't stay in Japan anymore, but they sure as hell don't care what the rest of the world thinks. While the topic should have an obvious answer, the show seems to combat that with adorable pouting faces. How does this woman have a teenage son? And how have I still not started it? I must have a stronger mental state than I realised to not be swayed....... yet.

    But Gigguk said it was enjoyable. And he's never actually lied to me yet, everything he's recommended I've rated at least a 7. MAL doesn't seem to like it though. Although i do need to find something to watch again....
    Now why would they want me to not see such shows that shape history such as traveling with your son into a video game?

    i dont trust gigguk just for that one time he made a review on k-on. well he is not wrong but he disrespected the sheer essence of it being a slice of life than music.

    after reading my last post, i think it could be taken in reverse. to make it clear, gigguk made fun of k-on being tagged as music but not having enough music and its just about girls doing cute things. well yeah it is thats the whole point of the series. i originally came for the music but stayed for the slice of life. that was the deal of it.

    But it was only thanks to him that I watched Bunny Girl Senpai so I can't be too mad. Since Mai is top tier it is a little hard to look past her to see the rest of the cast.

    I don't actually pay attention to his reviews, I come for the shitposting he does. And I love it. But that means I never did watch his K On review. I started watching it for the cute Kyoani girls doing things. I didn't have high expectations and enjoyed it, mostly. Also those themes are great, hearing them in Bandori all the time helps remind you how good they were.

    ah yes now it makes sense. he does make good ones bullshitting things that people enjoy xD. i would say one could use him for gathering inputs than as a reference as the whole point of his videos are his opinions and insights. if anything that made me use him as reference, its that studios turned to people one and they/he made it spot on.
