G'day mate welcome to the forums!

 

Hola, I am mostly human, I am 16, a junior in highschool, my name is not Seth basden, that is an alias I use sometimes. I am not creative enough to come up with a cool name. Ummm, I used to think anime sucks and was a nerd past time or something, but I heard my friend talking about it and a couple months later I was bored and looked it up. AND IT WAS AWESOME. I watched that one anime for, like, a month over and over and then inspiration struck. What are other shows like? So I started watch just about any I could get my hands on.
That was a year ago tomorrow. I've gotten most of my sibling hooked on some animes and I've seen alot, BUT NOT ENOUGH. NEVER ENOUGH. My favorite show, as of now, would probably be Fate Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works or Akame ga Kill!. Can't wait for the next season of Attack on titan and Fate Stay Night Heaven's Feel.

If anyone has reccomendations, I'm all ears. Or eyes, I suppose, since I'm go on a read you recommendation. That's it, I guess.

Maybe try watching the other fate series anime, FMA, FMA:B.

You should go look at your favourite anime on www.myanimelist.net and check out the recommendations based on these. I have my own anime list in my signature which says which anime I liked most.

 

I will do that, thanks! And, to answer your question, I could go either way. Though I prefer not reading subtitles, I will if I have to. I watched Unlimited Blade Works subbed before it was dubbed. Then I watched it again dubbed.
And by fma, you mean Fullmetal Alchemist, right?

Hello my name is jmriz, i am 16 yrs old and live in texas. I have been watching anime on and off for most of my life, but for some reason though i am a boy, i don't like action anime unless it is historical and does not have any elements of fantasy or magic( i will make an exception for Laughing under the clouds). My hobbies are singing, drawing, reading, and watching anime. My favorite animes include Clannad & Clannad After Story, Kanon, Sakamichi no Apollon, Barakamon, SKET Dance, School Rumble, Steins;Gate, Laughing Under The Clouds,and the Samurai X OVA movies.

I still remember when I was a newbie and starting out here. ...Well... technically... I am still a newbie when you look at how long I have actually been here and not the ranking status. It actually shocked mii when I looked at the time in which I joined. I thought I was here for a little bit longer but I've only been here for about three months according to my profile. The ranking just goes to show how much I use this site. Haha!
