    I beg to differ, at least Aria has character development and the anime has a much complex plot that a guy who ends up in a universe with magi and has to save their universe.
    Also, no one is worse than Louise.

    complex? I don't know about the LN but the anime was awful and had a stupid plot plus that ending made no damn sense.

    and yes she is worse than Louise. At least she had a reason to being stuck up at first being raised a nobel in a world where commoners are all pretty much servants but she got over it. Aria is just a girl from an important family and she has talent. But she still treats the MC just as bad as Louise treated Saito at first. Plus her character never really changes at all.

    Her character changes before the end of the first season, by the end, she acknowledges her feelings for MC (and that is leaving aside the LNs)

    Louise, on the o other hand, does not have any character development from season one through four.

    Also, yes the plot is more complex, armed detectives with backstories that are looked into in details which explains Aria's trust issues and why she is such a brat as opposed to Louise who is acts that way because she is self-conscious and despite getting married to saito treats him like garbage and acts as of they were not married, then has bursts of rage when other girls seem to have a crush on him.
