True, went to Honshu once and visited Osaka. Dotonbori was amazing, the signs and lights, even the canal was kind of surreal in a way. All of the people gathered round made it a little bit overwhelming, but that's pretty much tourist heaven. You will be surprised how much English is spoken in Japan. I would definitely recommend visiting it someday.
