nah it's fine. Even if you're talking about well known series it takes time to get to them all. I haven't watched HunterXHunter yet. I plan to....eventually. If you don't like bad endings you might want to skip the anime and go to the manga since the anime ending in infamously bad MAKA PUNCH OF COURAGE!

Kinda hard to call Crona a trap, since his/her gender was never confirmed. But then again it looks like a kinda girl but sounds like a boy, but who knows, he/she is like an ultra troll-trap.


But Crona could also easily be seen as a boy. Most people tend to see Crona as a girl because she just acts so quiet and shy and just the way she tends to act. But over all Crona is gender neutral so reguardless of (What do I reffer to a trap as again if I don't know it's gender?) gender Crona is still a trap. Although I crona is a stronger trap as an "Actually a boy" trap rather than an "Actually a girl trap" since most people seem to guess girl.

Obviously I need to spoiler this. So fair warning I'm going into detail about the ending of Soul Eater anime.

The biggest issue I guess that is with the ending is how ridiculous it is if you think about it. The kishin is the evil god like being of that world. He fought death himself on even ground and ,partly due to luck, critically wounded him. Yet maka killed him......by punching him in the face. Just because she showed courage she somehow beat the Kishin. There were also smaller things that were off with the ending but I think that is the one people tend to have the most problems with. The other issues people take are how it diverges a lot from the manga in ways that make a sequal pretty much impossible. For example Medusa died when she didn't in the manga. Mafune lived in the anime but died in the manga. Arachne was eaten by the Kishin and wasn't in the manga. It's the fact that it followed the manga then just got so far off in weird and pointless ways that angers a lot of people. In FMA the ending was original but at least in it's case it made the ending it's own. In soul eater they didn't make an original ending as much as they just forced all the loose ends to get tied up early so that they wouldn't have to leave the anime open ended.

I haven't read the manga, so any differences were lost on me. And Maka beating the Kishin like that did annoy me a little. I reckon it would have been better if when she beat Medusa, Soul ate her, turned into a Death Scythe, and that unlocking the Kishin Hunter move, rather than Maka just pulling it out of her arse like that. And yeah, I was also annoyed that a move named after killing a certain creature has no effect on that creature. And one final thing; if they did give it an open ending, that would have killed it for me.
