Tomokazu Sugita Joins One Piece Anime's Cast As Katakuri

    This year's 10th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Tomokazu Sugita(Gintama's Gintoki, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma's Etsuya Eizan) is joining the cast of the One Piece television anime as the character Charlotte Katakuri. Katakuri is the second son of Big Mom, and he is one of the Three Sweet Commanders who has a bounty of more than 1 billion Berries.

    The issue also notes that One Piece will stream on Netflix in Japan, and will reveal more information about the stream at a later date.

    The One Piece anime entered the current "Whole Cake Island" arc with the 783rd episode in April 2017. Namie Amuro debuted the current opening theme song for the series on October 1.
