The official help identify this anime thread

That's because it's a comedy really. The idea that Japan has no official bread xD It made me laugh when I first saw trailers for it. Not sure if I will ever get round to watching it. I'm sure I will at some point..

 

Well most shonen type series tend to play with fan service every now and then especially if the shonen is focused on comedy. The series only becomes truely cheap if the fan service is overused and overshadows everything else.

Honestly I'm kinda surprised I remembered a show I haven't even seen so quickly. My countless years of watching anime have NOT been in vain! Also maybe I should check out this show as well.

It looks like Haruhi, but referencing Death Note yet, it's neither of these... and doing a search turns up nothing but motivational poster referances which tell me natta. So, anyone know?

.... it's Ranked #397, has 69 eps total AND has a freaking English dub! And what's it about? Making bread!? Dear LORD how come something like that gets a dub and is so popular while other anime out there aren't as popular and never get a freaking dub!? This world, I swear... lol

EDIT: Don't suppose any of you know the exact ep the gif for Yakitate!! Japan is from do ya?

 

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the death note stuff was just photoshopped on there. They don't look like part of the original image.

Also no I haven't seen the show yet so I don't know what actual episode it was from.

 

even if it was photo shopped on there, I still wish to know what anime this pic comes from.

@Natsuru-san Hmm, that doesn't look like the book worm from the series. But, it does look a little bit like Haruhi. Might be one of the main characters in K-On! (I always thought they were drawn very similar). They don't read Death Note in the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. That image looks pretty photoshopped. Pretty sure everyone would know by now about an anime that references Death Note like that.

Whilst I am here, a little off-topic as I will talk about a manga. A lot of people keep posting random pages from manga in the Skype chat. But, there was one where a schoolgirl mimics the barking of dog by saying "ru~ru~ru!" Can anyone tell me which manga it is from, or if it is just fanfic?

yeah I know quite a few manga so if I had the image I might be able to figure it out. But just a description that vague isn't enough because it's not the kind of event that stands out enough on it's own to be particularly memorable. Plus it's generic sounding enough to where it could be from just about any manga.

IWell gain I think that is just a photoshoped image of Yuki from Haruhi.

It's a little hard to tell since it was rather heavily edited but it sure looks like her and she was always holding a book. I do know though that the "Just as planned" and "death note" text are photoshoped and I'm pretty sure those eyes are too.

Yeah, that definitely looks like Yuki. I highly assume that the reason you got no results in Google is due to all the massive edits. Eyes, mouth, book, headset, text. Those sorts of things, especially in combination, would definitely make a reverse-Google difficult.
