I hate toilet humour...........

 

I watched it, it was alright though quite cliche. Also, what VAs can you easily recognize?

It's Gainax, it's shit regardless.

I actually think it's cuter, though sad knowing that Yukarin wants this and yet she plays a character that has it. It was funny, the first 5 seconds in when Kaoru was talking to her upperclassman I was like "That voice seems oddly familiar" so I waited until the end to see the credits... and it was mai seiyufu. This is an accurate depiction of my face at the time:



Apparently she's also in Ore Monogatari!! too but as like a joke side character that rarely appears.

Guess I'll just wait for 53min until I can hear her as Teana again, should be fun.

 

I picked it up more just because it was there. I actually first saw some of it when I just started watching anime online and I've been kind of picking it back up and dropping it over time. I like the humor at times when it's NOT going into the gutter. But since they seem to have a fondness for toilet humor there are times I'm really not enjoying myself. Also some of their other jokes are just meh to me. But that is why I love the serious arcs so much as they normally don't do much crude humor at those times but instead when they do use humor during a serious arc it's creative and funny. That is why I don't outright hate the show but I find it hard to stay interested in the show as a whole.

 

Watched the raw for Nanoha ViVid.

8 YEARS AND THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME

 

So I watched the first Kyoukai no Rinne, a good first episode there, kinda somehow reminds me of Inuyasha somehow, not just because the manga was created by the same person and the supernatural theme, just kinda felt like it

Also I need to ask, who where watched the ONA of Houkago no Pleiades and is watching the anime? I wanna know since I'm kinda interested in it

To be fair some episodes I find hilarious. Just not enough to keep me watching all the time again especially when they get dirty with the humor. Also I've seen about 200 now.

 

I hate both of them.

 

Really, why? Also since we're also on the topic, I can kinda recognize a lot of VA's, and I do mean a lot of them when I watch anime, even if I don't check the cast list, which I regularly don't unless it's necesary

 

On a side note, I took the liberty to watch Re-Kan, it was very funny, somehow I'm always attracted to almost any kind of anime, I do avoid a certain genre though

 

They're both too over-exposed that I drop a show if they appear. Hayami is in nearly everything this season and Amamiya isn't that good of a VA but cause she's got a Sony label, they're promoting her as this next big thing, bigger than HanaKana.

 

Really? Well what can you do

 

Drop any show that has their names in it. But going by that logic, I'd have to drop Nanoha has Hayami now plays Ginga.

 

That's something I usually dislike but somehow this one is rather decent. Even tsundere girl is lovely.

 

I just don't get you. I can understand liking or disliking certain voice actors but to go so far as to watch to drop a show for that alone is just..... shouldn't the story and characters be more important than how their stupid voices sound? Why is a show instantly not good if a certain character happens to have a certain voice actor? especially if your reason for not liking them is only that they are in too much stuff not because they are just that bad.


Also it seems more people are saying they at least somewhat liked Re-Kan. I think I'll try to find some time for it after all.
