And scariest and creepiest avi and especially sig award goes to 1 @Heizengard ! Now, just two questions, where was dis on Halloween man and from what anime is that from!? (I see Evagelion but don't recall that scene and the girl with pink hair reminds me of the girl from Eureka 7)

MK 1412 ep 9, new material ep completely! They could have shown us the flash back sooner but, that'd have made this predictable and thankfully they only gave hints and I didn't catch them. This made this ep far more enjoyable and now, ep 10 finishes ep 9 up since it left us on a pretty good cliff hanger (Hem, Kaito Joker also left us on a good cliff hanger too and both are about stealing and magic, coincidence?) and the preview for ep 10 has me stumped. It features Ran, Sonoko and Conan Edogawa in his child form. (Albeit by how tall he is, he's been a kid for a while which makes sense given KK only steals once a month on a full moon night usually) so basically this preview showed that but also shows pieces of the place where we were left to hang. I can only guess this means it'll have two stories in one. I'm really looking forward to the next ep, even if I DO feel Conan and crew should take a back seat for at least 1 full season. I also get the feeling the reason why the "villains" haven't shown up again is because they're creating new stories that aren't in the manga (Since it's taking it's sweet time to publish) and are planning on having a 2nd season and more if it gets popular enough.

All the anime I've watched today thus far has disappointed me.
SAO II - crushed my dream of a yuri ending with Yuuki's back story (her condition makes me sad).
Celestial Method - the usual not talking things over.
Log Horizon - 20 minute prep talk. (Boring)

Really, SAO disappointed you? It has been disappointing me ever since the first season decided to send Kirito and Asuna to the loveshack in the woods. I've been hating every episode of this season so much so that I am currently rating it a 3, and it is probably only that high because of the animation and that "ASADA SAN!!!" scene. I am now an official SAO hater, come at me fan base I can take you all on.
I also actually really enjoyed this pep talk, maybe it was just me but frankly I found it better than the self loathing Akatsuki episodes. Yeah the fights in those eps were good but the rest of Akatsuki being moody I could have done without. William's pep talk was a great watch for me, and to some degree, I could relate to what he was saying [although with anime instead of games].

Since this is my first post in here in a while @Heizengard did you see the announcement for Garo? It is getting a second season as well as a movie as part of its 10 year [? I'm not too sure anymore] anniversary. The live action is getting some extra movies and stuff too but the anime was guaranteed to have these two things. How great of news is this?

Also who is interested in watching Trigger's next anime Ninja Slayer? Well if you're not or haven't heard of it, here is a PV to help change your mind.

I already planned on watching it for obvious reasons but this already looks so much better than their current anime Inou Battle. That animation, those outrageous clothes and those colours. This is definitely Trigger's style, and now I'm even more psyched for it.

No I didn't hear about Garo (then again I haven't been watching anything lately due to just not feeling up to it). Sounds good though. I'll probably watch season 2, but not the movie since I'm not much of a movie person.

Sorry for the double post. Even though I have yet to get up to date with Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, I'll give my thoughts on it. It's boring so far. Granted I've only watched the first 3 episodes but I have a lot to gripe about with it.

First is the episode numbering. Episode 1 is titles Episode 0 and Episode 2 is Episode v1.2 or something like that. They are both the same episode from another characters perspective and is completely pointless. Also they are both 47 minutes long where nothing really happens. Yeah, there's a fight but it's short and if you've seen the first anime or read the VN (I've done both things) you know how it goes. In fact the whole first three episodes are basically the first anime with minor changes (though it is how it was in the VN). There was no reason the first two episodes had to be 40+ minutes. It could have just been one episode. Now I know some of you might be saying that Fate/Zero did that. Yes, but it was one episode and they had a lot to go over with the new characters and it was a story that has not been repeated about 20 f***ing times. Also I feel like if they bring in that Tsukihime bulls*** like they did with Fate/Zero I might lose it. Why does it need to be in the same world again? It's like that with Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate. I just don't get it. Tsukihime was a confusing pile of trash (talking about the VN I have not seen the anime) and I seem to be the only person who hates it. I also seem to be one of the few who really likes Fate/Zero but meh. I know that they are doing this so that way people who didn't watch the first season know what's going on, but you'd probably only be watching Unlimited Blade Works if you were already a fan of Fate/Stay Night. I will say that it's better then the movie. The movie was awful. Anyway I just hope it gets better.

@Heizengard what if the movie was a direct continuation? So far I don't think any info about it is known apart from that it is coming. It could potentially be a movie to finish off the series after the second season, could you still not watch it if that were true?
Anyway sounds like you're not liking this new Fate series too much, good thing that I haven't really seen any of this franchise otherwise I probably would have been watching it too. Guess I dodged a bullet there, although now I'm wondering why it has a ridiculously high score on MAL.

Shit I'm so sorry @Natsuru-san . I didn't get the notification that you tagged me >.<.
My sig and old pic came from a music video thing called ME!ME!ME! you might still be able to find it on Youtube, though it probably got taken down by now.

@Supernatural-Knight Because it most likely gets better and more action paced. I know Karma and Seits said something like that in one of the chats a few weeks back. I've just seen this intro so many times it's not funny so it's starting to annoy me. I'll probably still watch it but either A) at a much slower pace, or B) Once it gets dubbed. As for the movie, yeah I'd probably still watch it even if it wasn't gonna be a continuation.

@Heizengard that is what I figured about it, but man to go over the same segment that many times it must get really tiring after a while. The only Fate I have to watch it the first series because I dropped it several years ago, eventually I'd like to watch everything in my dropped list so it is a must watch for me now unfortunately.
I have to agree, while I am not liking Garo that much I like it enough to watch any continuation they give it. I'm still curious as to how many eps this season of Garo will have.

Also the next episode of the Anima(tor)expo came out some 12 hours ago, so much nudity..... Well I liked it anyway, once again it offers a different type of storytelling with a different animation technique used. That name though "20min Walk From Nishi-Ogikubo Station, 2 Bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 2mos Deposit, No Pets Allowed"
All this episode reminded me of was that one line in Uchuu Kyoudai "Sometimes it is nice watching a woman run"

@Natsu-Dragneel yep the anime certainly changed a lot of stuff, although if you're only watching the anime it wasn't that bad of a watch. They skipped an arc and going from what my brother told me it would have been glorious to see that animated. Too bad the content was too extreme for TV in those chapters it skipped.

Anyway it is getting later in the season, it will soon be time to open up our next voting activity. @Metazoxan what was the site you always used for future season's info? I've forgotten and currently I don't feel motivated enough to search for it.

WOW! No wonder Majin Bone's poster looks like digimon
An anime adaptation of Bandai's digital card game "Majin Bone".

So much for digimon eh? :c

I watched a couple episodes of Trinity Seven. It's uh... odd. The MC is kind of creepy in the "everytime he opens his mouth I feel like he's bad touching me" kind of way. Also I never got what's so sexy about girls pissing. In ep 2 three of the girls had to piss and it was for fan service. I just don't get it.

Inou-Battle is starting to get... bad sadly. I was honestly liking it, then episode 8 happened and now I just don't know anymore.

Garo and Psycho Pass 2 are still good, and infact PP2 got better. I was starting to get annoyed with it (I'm not a fan of Kamui at all) and then the real villain finally shows up and he's demented. I love it. As for Garo, I'm just waiting for my favorite character to die because I know he will :/.

@Heizengard Yeah, trinity 7 isn't at ALL what I expected it to be, it's better later on but even then, out of all the anime I'm watching now, it is the lowest priority on my list. I also don't like how it doesn't properly explain how the magic truly works, this is not something that happens and I dislike it..
Well, that is what we call a fetish. There are countless fetishes ranging from feet, smoking, peeing & pooping and even, eye ball licking. U wwon't be able to understand it but everyone has some sort of fetish, whether they realize it or not and thus, u can take that feeling and put it toward the rest, meaning, u like it, others won't like it nor get it and it's just something u like for whatever reason'(s). Also, dispite what anyone may say about fetishes, they're perfectly normal and in many of them, healthy/safe. (Albeit the eye ball licking one can cause u to go blind amoungst other things... )

NOO! Don't tell me that! I plan to watch Inou-Battle, well, I read someone else said around that ep it started to get good and the rest up till that point was introductions, filler and boring. We'll see.

I like the MC. It's like he's an honest pervert but realistically so. Meaning unlike Issei who's Libido is greater than the rest of mankinds put together this guy is just honest with his normal desires. He has his preferences and while he doesn't try to do perverted things he honestly doesn't hate when they happen either. I like this much better than either a perverted MC who just feels like an Issei rip off or ANOTHER clumsy shy boy who freaks out over everything.

What are you talking about 8 is where we see actual plot relating to the powers and everything. Without 8 the powers would be completely pointless. Maybe you don't like it but it's definitely not bad not at all. I actually like how this show takes stuff that other shows tend to treat so casually or use as a joke and treats them seriously. Even now with the episode 8 developments they are treating it seriously in a sense (can't say too much without spoilers though)

They've somewhat explained it. magic is magic so at the very least we can assume that magic power just exists. We don't NEED an explanation for magic power itself. But they do explain the structure of it and how it is used. magicans focus their studies to a theme and build their powers around that which shapes the characteristics and style of it. So we can assume magic is heavily influenced by the mind which is why is going out of control often destroys the users mind. The magic power itself is simply something all humans just naturally have in this world.

Of course they could explain things even further but they've given enough explination to get a grasp on how it works (I feels we'll get more explained later though). Magic isn't like science to where it needs to follow the laws of physics or have a completely defined source. So as long as the show explains how the magic works they've done a good job. Honestly most of the detailed explinations for magic I've heard in anime just turn it into Psudo-science so maybe it's better for where magic exactly comes from to remain a mystery.

Yes, I know however, look at any char besides the male MC, they already have their magic and the ones that got power ups were explained how, however, now lok at our MC male here, he just keeps getting stronger and stronger (Yes I know what his power is) and what's more is, we keep jearing that there are requirements to do this, yet, not a once have they said what requirements they were. It's like I'm looking at a char who knows nothing about magic besides the grasp of what u said, somehow luckily unlocks all requirements and gets stronger and stronger, oh waiiiit... :p If this were anime like say, Sailor Moon (Hey, it may be a magical girl show but, it still has magic and thus counts) then we'd get and more so SEE the explanation for why they get stronger. (e.g. new transformation item, love, etc.) and even in Negima we're shown Negi and the others are taught and had to train to use and improve their magic but now look here and >_> NOPE! No explaination whatsoever and any "training the male MC has done has just been seeing someone's power in action and that's it. No explanations really given. :(

EDIT: To add to this, I'd prob have dropped this anime long ago if not for one thing which is, the cast of chars and their personalities and by that I mean, this is an ecchi anime, harem too I believe and I've seen tons of those, this one is real low on everything but, the one thing it DOES DO is, the words they say are not what I've typically if at ever seen before or their actions sometimes the same and such. For example, the MC male is a perve (common) and upon seeing one of the girls naked HE HIMSELF was startled (Given his persona, this is odd) and was even bothered by this event when the girl didn't care and his words were basically saying girls should be bothered by this, this is unusual and he then proceeded to exit from the area due to being uncomfortable. This is just one of a few things that you don't expect or see in many if at any ecchi/harem anime. Even still, it's low on my priority list which says a lot about it.

Everyone's sense of something being "bad" is different. What I might think is bad, someone else might think is good. I think the whole
    fairies thing
is stupid, but that's me. That's my opinion. I wouldn't have minded no explanation, in fact plenty of other good anime don't explain a lot of stuff like that and it sometimes works, which I think it could have worked for this series, but again, that's just me. I know my significant other didn't like the explanation either. We were watching it for our 5 month anniversary and episode 8 almost ruined it for us just because of the stupid explanation. We're still gonna finish it, I mean I don't hate it or dislike it at all (I mean when has something bad ever stopped me from watching something :p) but it has put a damper on my opinion of it.

The reason he's kind of skipping the requirements is that grimoir of his. She's basically a master at magic and she's doing 90% of the work for him. When she's not at his beck and call he can't do much. That is why he can get stronger despite barely knowing a thing about magic besides a general feel of it. He needs to at least have that much because even if she casts it for him he still needs to know how to use it which is what he's mostly been learning.

Also how is seeing someone power not an explination? He's talented enough at magic to get a grasp on it just by seeing it. It's the same as saying he trained for months but less time consuming. I'm not saying it's the best explanation but it is perfectly valid.

I agree with you on that last point though. The characters in this show are strangely honest and blunt. For example at one point the light blue haired girl is talking to the white haired one and is calling herself the MC's wife again. Then the white haired one says "I'll be the mistress" and she just nods and says okay. or the time those two snuck into and when the red haired girl comes in he says "want to join". Yet there are other times like that where he acts completely respectable. It's like most of the main cast have little problem just saying what they think of feel and doing what they want. They don't freak out they either make a joke of it or honestly voice their thoughts on it. That's honestly pretty rare for a harem series and breaks away from the normal way characters like this are written.

Now the rest of the show isn't too remarkable but the plot is progressing at a decent pace and the way magic works in this works is fairly standard but also a little unique.
