If we're talking about Golden Time.
It might turn out good considering this is from the same person who did Toradora, and Toradora was amazing.
The director did Higurashi.
And the Series Composition is by the same person who did the Series Composition for all 3 KEY anime series done by KyoAni as well as doing the Script for Higurashi Kai.

So I have hopes for this series, it's probably just going to be slow paced.

Yeah, that was a big let down, with all the exaggeration that they did saying just how powerful the fourth progenitor was supposed to be.

Obviously not. Maybe the main character's friends but without him the story ends so he obviously can't die.
@Lunar he said himself he can't really use his power very well yet. No one actually claimed he could fight just that he had a lot of power. But since he only just recently got all that power he is an armature at using it.

Anyway here are my thoughts on a few other series.
Outbreak Company -This is actually pretty good so far. I've seen up to episode 2 and it is actually pretty tame on the fan service (I barely remember any besides a little used for a joke or two) and it actually focusing on developing it's plot and characters rather well and they are focusing on real issues like racism and such. So for those just shooting this down as a stupid "wish fulfillment" harem series. Think again. I don't know how it will turn out but so far it's showing that it really deserves a chance.

I Couldn’t Become a Hero-This one is not so reserved with it's fan service but it doesn't really seem to be over doing it too much. Not really enough to get in the way. But besides that the main characters are interesting and the setting is fairly unique. If you like comedy series give this one a shot.

Noucome- This one is not as bad as it could have been. They didn't go over board on the fan service and it did make the laugh a few times and the characters are actually interesting to watch. It's more of your typical harem setting and it's not 5 stars or anything but I'm enjoying it so far so if you aren't picky or like harem series go ahead and give his a shot. Although some of the things he is forced to do are almost too embarrassing to watch.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Ars Nova - Oh god....too much CGI. Why did they have to use it on the chararacters themselves? Their movements are so stiff! The plot itself it pretty generic and the characters seem pretty bland. You have the serious MC with a painfull past, the energetic girl who likes to hug the little girl on the team, you have the tech wiz, you have the guy who looks like he does sports. So far NOTHING about this show seems to stand out besides the awful looking CGI characters. The plot and characters aren't horrible so I'll stick with it for now but it seems pretty cliche and forgettable.

 

I decided not to watch ARS Nova because of those reasons.
I also am not going to pick up Yozakura Quartet because apparently it's just fanservice, and I already have Freezing for that.

Also, I finally started watching Non Non Biyori, this is cute, and I'm just waiting for the episode where they just reference Higurashi.
Because the town looks so similar to Higurashi.

Yeah outbreak company surprised me. I figured it would at least be interesting but I expected fan service and panty shots galor. But instead there is hardly any and the characters have real depth to them by the second episode. So far the whole "Bring moe to the world" consists of his having a couples years world of manga sent over (Including Attack on Titain) as well as a couple other things. So the MC is putting real effort into how to best introduce Otaku culture to this world in a way they would accept and benefit from.

I agree people will condemn a series for any use of fan service and will throw it in the same bin as DxD and the like. But there are very different levels of fan service and some shows devote themselves to it, others just throw it in once in a while, and some use it reasonably and sensibly or in other words they show characters partly or fully naked when you would realistically expect them to be and they don't force the characters into those situations.I haven't seen this anime though so I don't know the level of fan service in this case.

Pupa's official twitter has announced that the Pupa anime adaptation will be delayed further and wont air in the fall season anymore. They revealed that the new air date will be in January.

The episodes will only be 5mins long according to rumors but that has yet to be confirmed.

Guys, whoever is watching Miss Monochrome and Non Non Biyori, are they worth watching?

 

Of the two, I'm only watching Miss Monochrome. With that said, I'm really enjoying the anime. Each episode is only four minutes long though. With they were longer.
