If I post the lesbian cakes kissing will you watch the show? Because it's actually fucking good I'm not memeing it's actually well adapted and beautifully directed. Remember He-Man? If you do then you must remember She-Ra, He-Man's sister. Well DreamWorks announced a while back that a remake of the classic She-Ra 80's cartoon would be made for Netflix for 4 seasons. Where the controversy came from was when the designs came out, fans were in uproar over how the new She-Ra was designed to look nothing like her classic counterpart, for one, there were modest spats, 2 she was flat af, and 3 she was considerably younger, she looked like a trap. And also the people who were writing and directing the show were SJWs and said "THE SHOW IS SO PROGRESSIVE, EVERYONE IS FUCKING GAY". Anyway it premiered on Netflix on the 13th along with a few other audio options, such as Cantonese, Greek, Latin-American and Japanese. Now, it's clear budget was wasted on hiring Nakahara, Risa Taneda and Kikuko Inoue was also in it, because the rest were voiced by literal whos. Anyway the show isn't bad, its above average, I of course watched it in Japanese audio and holy fuck is it so much better. Nakahara makes for an expressive Adora/She-Ra and makes me realise how great she is when given the chance to do MC roles. Also speaking of her again, she's actually going to be a guest at Anime Central next year, which will mark her first US anime convention. I'm honestly shocked given how awful she is at English. I also feel sorry for her cause all she'll get is either people saying they loved her as Rena, people saying they loved or as Nagisa, people saying they loved her as Juvia, or people saying they loved her as Nakoruru. Frankly if I had the money, wasn't going to Uni at that time, not preparing to box competitively, or not going to Japan next year I'd be booking tickets right now. I'd be dropping so many characters she voiced because I'm pretty sure VAs are impressed by that (When I went to Supernova 3 years ago I did the same thing when I saw Cherami Leigh and she seemed impressed until I dropped Master of Martial Hearts on her). And then I'd ask the question: "So when are you getting a main role in anime again? It's been a good 5 years since your last good role."
