Now Meta’s idea, I wanted input from everyone. What are your thoughts about a seasonal review thread where you post your reviews or comments [both positive and negative] about the series you’ve watched from that season? This is already done to some extent in this thread [see Keiichi's last post] but having an extra thread would allow for more detail to be given. Negatives of this idea is that it will be inactive all throughout the season until the end, and it could kill off some conversation in this thread of the same content. Positive of this idea is that it would be easier to find relevant info about the shows from that season without the need to hunt through 3 months worth of posts in this thread.
Do you think it is a good idea and should be created or do you think it is not needed? Presumably everyone would be using it at one point in time so everyone gets a say, this is to see if there is a demand for this idea.
a thread to discussion a reviewand/or reaction?if its for review thead, well for me, as this is a dub review site, i think we can make a review of an anime that is dubbed. new released series are open for discussion at their respective sections (by genre). correct me if im wrong but i but i feel that the threads in the forums are for discussion for reactions/ideas and no longer comments for a review. this may sound like what you are proposing but what im trying to say is that reviews are submitted to review admins and they decide to whether post that review or not. then when that review is posted, people can then talk about it at the comments. so what im getting/thinking whats going to happen here is that we will post a review-kind-of-thread to its section and discuss. so there would be a split of discussion that will happen. one at the reviews and one on the thread.reaction threads however is fine by me. if we are to create a "why is character x so blah blah" then there we can have a discussion and lots of theories/ideas thrown back and forth. this may cause friction but thats how discussions are born.So looking through anime news the other day and I come across the news of High Kyuu to be animated http://myanimelist.net/manga/35243/ after reading the initial blurb of it being a vollyball manga I immediately thought it’d be a couple of F cup bimbo’s jumping around on a beach somewhere [this seasons wrestling one was influencing me to think like this]. Needless to say I almost didn’t click to continue reading, however I was surprised to see that it is actually males playing volleyball with these tags associated with it Comedy, Drama, School,Shounen, Sports. Is anyone interested in watching this or would you of preferred the bimbo’s [Keiichi I'm looking at you here]. Despite not liking the sport I am interested in this, I’ve not even heard of a volleyball anime before so regardless it has a somewhat unique premise, and the fact that it wont be fanservice is even better as there has been too many attempts to please the viewers with this recently.
im up for it but like every anime i watched, ill wait for it to finish and marathon it. hehe

I’m leaning more towards being against it. We already have a thread where we rate the last anime we have watched, its in the general anime section and the people who are willing to write small to larger reviews when they complete something from the season are already doing it there. I realize this is geared towards seasonal watching where the already existing thread is for any anime you’ve finished. But I feel this is another case of a club taking discussions that could be easily done in public and bringing them into the shadows. People who might not be in the club get a chance to see the reviews in public and express potential interest at a later point. I feel the thread would only split up discussions even more than the clubs are already doing. Either way, if this is something you decide on doing I’ll simply copy and paste my reviews into both threads so a wider audience can read them.

I saw the first 2 eps of Diabolik Lovers.
Yes it was creepy but i seen worse and it didnt look bad to me so i will keep watching.

It's based off an Otome game so expect nothing to happen.

Aint gonna watch Kyoukai no Kanata. The first minutes bored me to death already. How am i gonna watch a full show of this? Another thing is that i can't watch anime in the coming week probably so i will have a shitload of episodes to watch in the week after that. With all these new animes getting released. Maybe i'll give this one another shot after i sort evrything out, but i doubt it. It being from KyoAni also doesn't helpt. They have never made anything that interests me.

@Supernatural-Knight, You have an eye for detail. I noticed the things you said about Coppelion, but i didn't go that far into it. At first the characters looked really weird to me aswell, but eventually i got used to it. The story being so good and interesting also helped. I really hope they don't include (too much) fanservice in this. This show would be much better without that bullshit.

But like i said, i said it ''might'' be ''one of the'' best shows this season. Might means i'm not suggesting anything, and one of the best doesn't mean the best.

 

I'm sorry I believe we already have our AOTS as well as AOTY even though it hasn't aired yet:

 

So far Nagi no Asukara was most interesting, but the best ones are yet to be aired.

Golden Time and Kyoukai no Kanata seems promising as well.

 

I've watched the first Strike the Blood and I think it will be worth watching. And does anyone besides me thought of Deadman Wonderland after seeing the first episode of Kyoukai no Kanata?

 

I've heard Nagi no Asukara is going to be an NTR anime.
So I hope you can sit through 25 more episode of that.

Anyway, I feel as though I'm the only one giving Golden Time a chance and not dropping it because of the heroine, because honestly, she doesn't bother me one bit.

What if I told you the Seiyuu voicing the lead in that anime is also the same Seiyuu for Azusa from K-ON.
