Sorry he said Rias had won before and I just took his word for it since I couldn't remember. Your third point is untrue though. Rarely has anyone tried to get a character thrown out because of their opinion. When most people, including myself, bring up rejecting a nomination it is because they really think it doesn't belong. It won't get kicked without an Okay from Red anyway so trying to kick a nomination without a valid reason is pointless. I brought up stein because he isn't "supernatural creature, being or entity.
Vampires, zombies, werewolves, ghosts, monsters, yokai" he is 100% human. Thus I don't think he should qualify. I will take back my objection to Rias since she wasn't a winner after all.

@bedheadred Can we get your judgement on the Stein issue? I think both Spor and Mafia agreed so it's not just me who thinks this one shouldn't count.

Perhaps the rest of the nominators (and the voters when the time comes) should just be thinking if their nom would be a character that someone would dress as for Halloween. I mean, I've seen a bunch of people dress as Frankenstein's Monster, but I don't recall anyone dressing as Frankenstein himself (or any other mad scientist for that matter).

Anyaway, I finally thought of a second nom. The Grand Fisher from Bleach. He's a very powerful Hollow (therefore, not a human), and he likes eating humans. ^_^

Actually I was thinking of changing one of mine. I agree we need less humanoid characters so while I like Laharl I was thinking of replacing him with Shendu. I don't think it's technically anime but it's the Chan and I'm pretty sure the show was done in anime style so close enough. So is that okay?

In old times yes people would have but I would hope not now. Plus when you look to anime or even the real world most of the known common so called "monsters" (Vampire werewolf, Frankenstein, witches/warlocks, mummies, demons etc. etc.) are human like in some form or another. Now a days in anime we have demons and other creatures (Including the ones I mentioned earlier) which either look in some way like a human (or even act human in some way) or just flat out look like an animal or some unknown creature. Even Shendu is a creature, an evil Dragon, yet still can be called a "Monster." (I forgot but even Dragons are called monsters) So when you stop and think about it the majority of so called "Monsters" look like and or share some sort of traits with humans. So imo the name/term "Monster" is determined by each person/being. For me I don't see Rias as a Monster at all but I do see evil human beings as actual REAL monsters. lol

And Natsuru, the thing you said is driving me crazy. In the "so-called-monsters" list, you put Frankenstein. What you were probably meaning is Frankenstein's Monster; the combination of dead human parts that have been sewn together into a full body, and then re-animated by Dr Frankenstein the mad scientist using the power of lightning. Sorry, but I tend to lose it a bit when people get facts wrong...

Way to completely miss the freaking point. First of all you are talking about figurative monsters "That man is a monster" but when I said monstrous I was obviously referring to a monster like form as in "The monster is attacking Tokyo" or whatever. In other words the point of asking people to swap out the human like ones for more monsterous ones was refering to their appearance. Stop trying to over complicate everything.

But that is just a technicality I wouldn't ever actually call sweet Rias a monster.

Why yes. yes it is. He is Shendu the demon dragon that just won't stay dead and kept showing up in the series up until the last episode which is something no other villain in the series did.
