    Broly looks basically human besides his inhuman muscles and Yoda looks much more alien like and Broly is basically just a beserker who likes to blow shit up and overall he's a pretty simple character. So Yoda wins in my book.

    Afaik, we had many non-anime characters before, but most of them just died in the first round.

    Wow, never expected Yoda to be that popular. Good chance he will be the first non-Japanese character to win an elimination game :)

    No. Yoda's great but he's more the wise old man than an alien really. I voted round 1 for him because he's at least more alien like then Broly.

    Gel is mostly just some evil guy who shows up during episodes to fail hilariously without Dandy even being aware of his presence. He could be human and it wouldn't change anything about his character. Nyaruko has a weirder personality and her implied "true form" looks more alien like (The only hint to what she looks like is her brother who showed up once).

    So basically my judging for this competition is simply this. If the character was 100% human what would it change about them? In the case of Broly he would just be weaker but otherwise the same. In the case of Gen he'd look a little different but otherwise be the same. Nyaruko's personality is a little more tied to the fact she's an alien so the way she acts and talks would change if he was an actual human.

    Honestly neither of these are very strong nominations but I feel Nyaruko is at least a little more fitting to the theme.

    I never said I'd do that, it requires too much attention to detail to make sure no two nominees are up against their own nominator in the first round. I could have just sat there continuously refreshing the bracket until that was achieved for everyone but who can be bothered? If we actually had 32 willing members to nominate we wouldn't have this issue in the first place.
