Space Brothers Discussion.

@batosai, yeah I watched it the day it came out. This show I swear, I don't think I can thank Ovyda enough for convincing me to watch it, its one of my all time favourites.

Mutta went from being badass showing off the vertical climb roll, to being a softy drawing a heart, then confusing his superior all in five minutes. His first chat with the boss was awesome, I mean really how could he think that, well it made for a great light scene.

Then it does a complete 180 and gets really serious with Sharon's condition worsening far quicker than they thought, seeing her upset and relying on a wheelchair and her sister is a depressing sight. The realities portrayed in this show amaze me, it is that raw that the only thing I've seen that even compares to this level of realism is RAINBOW.

But then it ends on the high that Mutta will begin training for a mission.

And the Mr Hibbit segment afterwards, Jenimole I think it was, I laughed more at that than I probably should have.

 

I can't believe that Butler thought that Mutta actually had feelings for him, yes he's the boss so he doesn't really know the new astronauts but surely he should know that he likes Serika. It appears that everyone knows about that except for Serika herself. I always thought Alexander was his name with a normal American last name as well, to hear that it continues on past 4 names is a bit unusual. Well Alexander is just Alexander as far as I am concerned.

Professor Morrison helping her is bittersweet though, on the one hand it shows that he has the same compassion towards this goal and i willing to do anything to help, but on the other hand it is a large reminder to Sharon about just how bad her condition is. With no longer being able to work on her project, Sharon has nothing to occupy her time and will be even more fixated on the deterioration of her health. She can still oversee the project but I doubt that she'd be able to make it to where Morrison is going to be working on it.
This was meant to be her legacy, and to see it no longer even being able to be worked on by her is really sad, yes it will be completed but her part of it is essentially done right now. Mutta you have to make it to the moon, as soon as possible, no right now even so she can congratulate you upon your return.
