Shonen Jump Exhibition's New Café Menu Conjures Up 90s Nostalgia

    The staff of the three-part art exhibition honoring the 50th anniversary of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed the menu on Monday for the café that will open alongside the exhibition's second part on March 19. The cafe will be held at the "Cafe THE SUN" café next to the exhibition.

    The menu includes:

    "Krillin is..!!!!" Curry (Dragon Ball), only available from March 17 through May 7

    Coasters will also come with some of the menu items. The exhibition is also selling goods such as keychains, badges, T-shirts, sports water bottles, and necklaces.

    The exhibit debuted at the Roppongi Hills complex's Tokyo Mori Arts Center Gallery on July 18, and the first main part, titled "Sōkan 50 Shūnen Kinen Shūkan Shōnen Jump-ten Vol. 1 Sōkan~1980 Nendai, Densetsu no Hajimari" (50th Anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump's First Issue Exhibition Vol. 1: First Issue-1980s, Beginning of the Legend), ran until October 15.

    The "Sōkan 50 Shūnen Kinen Shūkan Shōnen Jump-ten Vol. 2 1990 Nendai, Hakkō Busū 653-Man-bu no Shōgeki" (50th Anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump's First Issue Exhibition Vol. 2: The 1990s - A Historical 6.53 Million Copies in Circulation) continuation of the exhibition will be held from March 19 to June 17, followed by the "Sōkan 50 Shūnen Kinen Shūkan Shōnen Jump-ten Vol. 3 2000 Nendai, Shinka Suru Saikyō Zasshi no Ima" (50th Anniversary of Weekly Shonen Jump's First Issue Exhibition Vol. 3: The 2000s - the Now of the Evolving Strongest Magazine) from July 17 to September 30.



    Other celebrations for the magazine's 50th anniversary include a T-shirt line, reprintings of landmark issues, two mix CDs, and a manga contest.
