    Kumatetsu raised a young boy, teaching him how to fight and general morals to make him into a better man. Practically a parent over a teacher I don't know is my method to decide.

    Alright @Batosai & @Noobs you both know how this works. Send me your numbers and I'll break your tie.

    Now for my vote this was immensely difficult for me. I love both characters and both live up to this theme. Izumi a Master Alchemist & skilled martial artist took on both Elric brother's after hearing their pleas. Since then they honed their minds and body and have looked to her for guidance. She has given them her support and cares for them as if they were her own children.

    Genkai though is slightly different playing to her own motives and desires. The very first introduction we grasp she is a women of a cold demeanor. She wasn't willing to take on a pupil until she felt she needed to pass on her knowledge and thus held a Tournament to decide the winner. Even knowing that her powers and techniques could fall into the hands of the wicked. This doesn't say she doesn't have remorse or any kind of human decency. She called Kuwabara's match when he was being crushed and even went on to heal him afterwards to make a full recovery. Even in the final match between Yusuke & Rando the match wasn't called as she really didn't want to have to teach Rando unless it was necessary. She then went on later to save some enslaved fighters so Yusuke wouldn't have to live with the guilt of taking there lives. She has done so much for Yusuke an has taught him how to fight along with what it is he should really be fighting for.

    Due to all of these reasons I feel Genkai deserves my vote. She has done more for her one student than what I felt Izumi has done for both Edward & Al.
