Ended Secret Santa

Noooo..... I was one a couple of years ago and couldn't come up with a good gift so I gave them a shitty sig. I mean what am I going to give? A review. Oh stop the presses, best Santa of all time over here.

 

I shall also participate. This will be the 3rd one and 3rd year in a row for me as well. I've been looking forward to this and thankfully, with all the craziness that's been going on these last 10 days, I thankfully saw something that reminded me to check this area again and what do you know. (It would have SOOOooo sucked to have forgotten this and missed it lol)

@Sporadic A few questions/concerns I have and pardon me if it was already said in the OP post (Haven't slept well for days).

1. So, basically we are pm'd who we send our gift too instead of the mods/helpers who signed up for it sending them out? If we've done away with the mods/helpers sending the gifts then, how is it a secret santa or have I missed something?

If mods/helpers are still handing out the gifts though, I'd like to volunteer helping pm them again this year. If they aren't then as a last ditch effort to keep it secret santa (As I know ya'll are busy with the site) I can personally receive and send out all of everyone's gifts through JD's PMs as long as we keep it to from xxx- till Dec. 25th date and I can assure and promise not a single gift I was sent through pm will not be sent to who it's supposed to go, so everyone will receive their gift'(s). on Dec. 25th at the latest. (Unless the site glitches and doesn't send what I did send. lol) The only thing that would be out of my hands is knowing who is a secret santa and is supposed to give gift to who, unless a list is provided to me of course and in that case I can pm them and @ them here if need be (as a last resort) to make sure they know time is ticking. I figure I'll do this once via pm (At this time, 6 days will have passed so they have half the time left) and if still nothing after 2-3 days (so 4-3 days left) I'll @ them here and even quote their post at the same time to inform them time is running out and any stragglers, I can either pm you/whoever u want me to, to inform they haven't sent a gift or I can keep pming them once a day and from here, you'd have to let me know what you want me to do in this case. (As I want to make sure this goes off without a hitch and that everyone gets their secret santa gifts) Of course, that's if you'll let me and if mods/helpers aren't doing the secret santa this year but members themselves pming their secret santa gifts. Even so, I'll still be a helper again this year if you'll let me.

2. I know Red helped run the last one but I wanted to know if what she said would happen still applies given the sitch. Basically she said anyone who didn't send their gifts last year wouldn't be able to partake in this year's secret santa. Does that still apply or has this been reversed?

3. Can we still give 12 gifts each day if we want too?

@ my secret santa: Just to be clear (Since I forgot to say it yesterday), while I appreciate any gift'(s) you give me, I don't want any gifts that are bought or have to arrive else where besides the forum here. Also, an early thank you and happy holidays to you and to everyone as well!
