To be honest, I don't mind who is cast for the role. To me, it's just a movie. The only thing I can hope for is that it's a good movie with a good plot like the first Ghost in the Shell film or Solid State Society... Otherwise it doesn't really matter who plays each character, seeing as most characters have prosthetic bodies anyway. So they could be in reincarnation. Obviously I hope they also put a purple/navy blue wig on her to at least try to make some reference to the original source material
