Royal December 2016

I'm lost as to where this notion of the character has to be Royalty is coming from. Did I not write "This month's theme is all about Royalty, Kings, Queens, Prince, Princesses, Nobility, and High Standings in society.'

Not once did I say specifically limited to just Royalty. The reason being was so you all had a more diverse pool to pick and rummage from. Maybe this wasn't included in the theme description for the Theme Voting, but I'm rather certain it was.. If not it was meant to be there. Both @Batosai & myself felt Royalty alone wasn't a strong enough theme to sport the amount of characters needed. So we opted to include Nobility & High Standing Members of Society (Likely those with great political control) to the Theme. Now that I have cleared this up for everyone I'll continue on a little further.

As for the definition of King, having a Royal standing bloodline to the throne doesn't meet the only requirement of the Title of "King". It is also means one that holds a preeminent position or who is a paramount figure. That's why King's can be dethroned and the one who overthrew them is appointed as the new King or Queen depending upon the gender. King can also be used a a title to describe a person such as say Elvis Presley who many called the "King of Rock & Roll". So by this meaning it doesn't restrict or require that the character be of Royal blood and heritage to be considered a King. As for Nobility you are either born into it or earn the Ranking of a Noble. There are several meanings to the word.

Finally as for how they rule and given their character this is solely opinion based on everyone. This is where things should be the most fun for everyone having conflicting differences by how they governed or ruled. Be it was ruthless or more of a kindhearted nature. We are all opinion based with our own thoughts, ideas, and beliefs. It's bound to happen sooner or later we'd have conflicting opinions, but again this should be taken in good stride bringing fun & enjoyment to all parties.

Your all free to convince others why they should vote for your nomination. Gracious for the first time every I went so far as to include brief descriptions of all characters so long as it didn't reveal spoilers. This was so you all have somewhat of a understanding of these characters. If my descriptions alone are not enough to defend your character then it's on you who nominated them to convince us even if it proves difficult. Even if you don't succeed you know you tried and you should take pride in that. And when you do succeed that sense of accomplishment makes it all worth the effort. If you just stand there doing nothing you'll never go anywhere. Nothing ventured is nothing gained so get venturing even if it hurts.

Were all here to enjoy ourselves and have fun, am I not mistaken? I think not. Sure some of us have been around far longer than others and haven't won a single Event, but that isn't any reason to throw in the towel or get to the point to belittle others. Face it the odds are against all of use if we have just a single nomination vs 31 others. However, most of the time we have been allowing 2 to as many as 4 nominations to improve ones chances. Still that's besides the point. It's a game of chance, though you yourself can influence the out-come by convincing others to vote for your nominations. Please just do this respectfully & if it divulges into spoilers list it as so because not all of use wish to have something spoiled. Now that may prove annoying because it may cost you a vote, but try to place yourself on the receiving end.

He's such a minor character, that he's almost forgettable.

Also, I was caught off guard when I saw that there was actually an anime for Kingdom.

If you find information on his real world equivalent (who that is, I'm not sure), you might be able to use that.

Well at the end of the day I guess we can see eye to eye on what we each said. Well you can, unfortunately I have now gone blind.​

 

Actually i meant to nominate Ei Sei. I think it said Wang Zhao on his MAL page as official name so i went with that not knowing his grandfather holds the same name. Chinese names are so confusing.

Also, arguing and dicussing over characters is fine, maybe even encouraged because it adds to this game, but please keep it nice and respectful. This game is meant to be a fun thing even if you lose.
Last month Mutta and Hibito winning the brovember game was my first win in these games and i've played them pretty much from the beginning in 2013.

@Satoko Houjou , i just wanna mention this, idk if you were serious about this and even if you weren't, it would be too bad if you decide to quit these games because of an arguement. You have been very active here and have been playing them for quite a while. You are one of the people i can always count on to have characters ready to nominate and are always pumped up to defend them even if they don't win. But like i said, please keep it nice and don't insult people for having different opinions. And never let these games hold an influence on your real life (like you mentioned your real life luck).

Ofcourse i cannot deny that. But do you know what i had to go through to get them to win??? I had to travel to the USA and bribe some very important people including the president. His vote got the job done in the end, but i promised them too much money which i can't pay, now i live my life in fear for hitmen. Was it worth it? Yes it most definitely was!

 

But that's the thing. I can't move on. You say 'try seeing things from other people's point of view', but have any of you tried to see my point of view? Imagine a character you really like is being voted against, would you really just let it go after two years of constant losses?
