Answer: Nope.

 

Tuesday: Nope. I don't really care for all that mushy stuff. That being said, I do spend the day with my xbox and laptop and usually watching "mushy" anime or shows. One year I even played a game with in-depth romantic angles all day but that's the most I've contributed to the concept of "Valentines Day"

 

Nope, i'm probably be staying single this international single's day. It ends up being way too overrated unless you are actually in a long term relationship

 

Tuesday- Nope.
It may just be because I’m not with anyone, but I don’t buy into the whole idea that there is this one ‘magical’ day that is meant to be more special than any other, to me valentines day is just another marketable scheme run by corporations to cash in on the consumerism of the populace that feel they owe something to their significant other. If you need a single day to show your love for someone through how much you spend then are they really the person for you?
Once upon a time it meant something but now it just seems so cheap and meaningless, ironic really when all the crap costs a ton.


While I agree that seemingly every holiday is being marketed as if it were a shopping day, I don't agree with what you say about Valentines Day to an extent. While the concept of the day may seem like an easy cop-out for boyfriends/girlfriends to do something romantic, it actually has the potential to be much more than that. In hindsight, Valentines Day is the one day that a guy can go way over the top for his girlfriend/crush without feeling too uncomfortable about it. Especially for shy guys like me, just knowing that everyone else is doing something along those lines is a real confidence booster. It's a stupid reason, I know, but it's a reason never the less. I used to dislike Valentines Day back when I was in middle school because I didn't really get the concept of it as a whole and I didn't really like any girls at the time. But now that I'm in my last year of High School, I realized that Valentines Day opens up so many creative possibilities for shy guys like myself to finally open up and be romantic without having to worry about whether or not the timing is right or whether we're going over the top. It's a personal reason in a sense, but a reason non the less.

Yea, she's in a relationship as well, so it's a double kill for me xD I basically had no shot from the get-go, but I have no regrets. Interesting to hear that a fellow forum member is in the same boat as me.

 

Tuesday: What I'll be doing this Valentines Day:
1. Go to school
2. Go to work after school
3. Watch the latest episode of Sakura Trick after work
4. Go to bed after Sakura Trick

Wednesday - The minute I started watching Log Horizon after I made it through the first episode I immediately became too busy to do anything else but watch the rest of Log Horizon on Hulu. Other than that last night at work x.x

Wednesday: Just last weekend I think would count. Didn't get very good sleep on Friday night, followed by a day of work at the op shop, followed by Britt's party where I got a whole three hours sleep. It was a hectic weekend~

Thursday: It'd have to be someone with power and/or the ability to give me power. A world leader perhaps? Then I could (hopefully) establish my own country with good internet and all the sciencey advancements and loots. :3

Thursday: Toshiro Hitsugaya for plenty of reasons. Most importantly I love the cold, snow, and ice and having power over ice is by far the greatest power ever and he is pretty badass. Other reasons include: out of all of the anime worlds there are the Bleach world is my favorite, Hitsugaya being level-headed and extremely intelligent would be able to handle being switched without freaking out and potentially ruining my body or position(because it would be switching bodies not just taking theirs over ), and I'd spend the whole day playing with his Ice and snow powers(dubbed training).
