Halloween doesn't really exist much in Australia except for 16 years olds who take it as an excuse to dress slutty and get drunk. So i'll be studying for exams and re-watching Princess Mononoke.

 

I'm probably going to be working as I told my manager I was open that day. My mom told me later that we were going to have a bonfire with some relatives but nothing I can do about it now.

 

My school anime club is having a off the record meeting where we are gong to watch everything of the extremely graphic variety that we usually cant watch. Besides that nothing really

Do you make any anime/pop-culture references in your everyday life, regardless if people understand them?

 

I say "Desu~" a lot.
Or I'll put on a Tsundere.
Or sometimes, me and my friend say "Mikuru Beam!" and do the pose too.

yes, well i guess the biggest reference would be that i purposely choose the protagonist seat in the back next to the window (the view isn't that bad)
plus i make references with my anime loving friends in school and some who don't really watch anime and end up staring at me with a blank face

 

Not really, it would be like the equivalent of acting like bugs bunny, saying "what's up doc" to everyone, i think is just going to be annoying. If i'm with friends that would understand the anime reference i'll make one but otherwise I think its just odd.

When i was working at an anime con 2 years ago i had to work with a girl who just kept making odd and really obscure anime references which neither me or many of the other staff got (and these guys were all seasoned anime fans). She also used random Japanese words instead of english, like "oh that so Kawaii" or "Moshi Moshi" when I rang her phone. I don't think it made her as cultured as she thought it did, in reality it just confused people.

Funnily enough when in response I said "ohayo gozaimasu" to her "moshi moshi" she didn't know what I said which made me face palm pretty hard.

Anyaway.
-I still say "That's classified" at every chance I get.
-Whenever I get déjavu, it's followed by a "Something's wrong..."
-I nyan. Whenever it's said aloud, it's usually only when I'm talking to myself. When it's not to myself, it's when I'm in an excited state, usually due to wanting to continue being awake when I'm at a friend's while overtired, etc.
-When I'm with my friends, we always make references at eachother, mostly from The IT Crowd, sometimes from Heroes such as "FURAIING MAN! WHOOSH" "Shhhhhhh" "*quieter* Whoosh"
-My laptop's password is Britain's New Emergency Phone Number.

As much as possible. steins gate references have been a plenty of late due to one of my friends recently watching it and there have been quite a few "passed down the armstrong line through generations" lines related to a friend whose last name is armstrong.
