The February issue of Mag Garden's Monthly Comic Garden magazine announced on Thursday that Saru Hashino's Psycho-Pass 2 manga series will end in the magazine's March issue, which will ship on February 5. Additionally, the magazine is revealing that Miyami Ōmiya's Tsurugi no Nai manga series will also end in the magazine's March issue.

Hashino's manga series is an adaptation of the 11-episode Psycho-Pass 2 television anime, which debuted in 2014 and continued the story of the original 22-episode Psycho-Pass anime that premiered in 2012. Funimation licensed the sequel series and streamed the series with English subtitles and with an English dub shortly after the Japanese episodes aired in Japan.

Funimation Describes the Second Season's Story:
Inspector Akane Tsunemori and her comrades at the Criminal Investigation Department return for the mind-blowing continuation of the popular sci-fi series set in a world where the justice system can read your mind – and justice is dispensed from the barrel of a gun. Pick up after the dramatic conclusion to season one, and see what happens to Akane after she learns the truth about the Sibyl System!

The Psycho-Pass franchise also includes a 2015 animated film based on the story of the original anime series. A video game titled Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan in March and in North America and Europe in September, following its initial 2015 release for Xbox One in Japan.

Hashino launched the manga series in 2014. Mag Garden published the manga's fourth compiled book volume on November 10.

Hashino started a manga adaptation of the Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru television anime earlier this month on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ online manga app.
