    Because the CGI is the first CGI in a loooooong time that actually looks good. And by good, I mean damn good.
    The cute-girls-doing-cute-things aspect is a little grating in this anime. :p

    Nope. The first ep was screened at my uni's weekly anime screenings, and I saw the CGI.

    Good CGI requires it to not be noticeable if the anime is in 2D.

    Good CGI is like something from GitS, where it blends in nicely with the 2D around it. Bad CGI is what Arslan Senki does, where it's blatantly obvious it's there. It's not smooth and does not integrate well with the 2D around it. KanColle I put in the middle as while it is still recognizable, it is at least better than how other shows do CGI (F**K YOU MEKAKU)
