Even before the pandemic started ruining release schedules all over, we knew we'd be having to wait longer than planned for Matthew Vaughn's third Kingsman movie, in this case prequel The King's Man. But as the latest trailer promises it'll finally arrive in September, we can all keep our fingers crossed that it might actually make it to big screens instead of being punted to VOD 0r 2021. Watch the trailer below.

Set around the time of World War I, The King's Man explores the origins of the elite, independent intelligence agency described by Ralph Fiennes' Duke of Oxford as "refined but brutal, civilized but merciless." They, with new recruit Conrad (Harrison Dickinson), will need all the smarts and gadgets in their arsenal to stop a huge criminal conspiracy to spark more conflict and profit off it. Gemma Arterton is Polly, one of the Kingsman team, while Rhys Ifans looks to be chewing scenery as Russian monk Rasputin.

Matthew Goode, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Stanley Tucci, Charles Dance and Daniel Brühl are all in the cast, with Jane Goldman and Karl Gajdusek on co-writing duty alongside Vaughn. The King's Man is looking to land in cinemas on 16 September. Let's stay hopeful, shall we?
