New trailer for Suicide Squad arrives online

If Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice has largely played up the doom, gloom and superhero clash, David Ayer's Suicide Squad seems determined to find the fun at every available opportunity. That's clear from the new trailer, backed by Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody.

As well as briefing the unwary on the basic concept (Viola Davis' Amanda Waller is putting together a task force formed from the most dangerous – and deranged – villains for suicidally dangerous missions), the trailer offers up plenty of new chances to see the cast at work.

So prepare to enjoy the likes of Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and more as some of the biggest bads to emerge from the DC Comics universe. They may not be the most willing heroes, but they could just end up saving the day... Assuming they survive.

Suicide Squad is ready to trouble UK cinemas on August 5.
