Even though I'm not really expecting them to survive the first round, inserting standard Haruhi nom. ;P
And I really think us nominating bands rather than just the leads would be better. GDM instead of Iwasawa for example, I think GDM is more suited to going far in the theme (don't shoot me).

You're right, I didn't realize that. When I skimmed the list, Beck looked like a person's name. @supernatural-knight will need to pick a new nomination if he chooses to. As I said before, if groups are allowed, I'll be sure to let everyone know so nominations can be adjusted. I'll most likely have a decision by the end of the day today.

Well IMO bands should be allowed especially if a certain characters music is only really heard or notable when it's with the group. We did something similar for fools month when we let groups like team rocket in. Because if the characters are only effective as a group it's not really fair to force them to go out it alone.

Now on that note the characters who do play music alone can use that as a selling point. Like this character is better than this group because he doesn't need a group to be awesome. Of course groups should only be niminatable if they are a real group. A few guys who play together ONE time or something doesn't count as a real group. They would have to have formally become a group not just worked together for something.

This is just my opinion mind you but I do think this is the best way to go about it.

 

Awww poo. I was only saying how taking one member could kill them off, sorta like Meta said, so there shouldn't be much reason to exclude bands.

Anyaway, scrolling through my fave character list on AP, I noticed one character who no one has nominated anyone else from the anime (for obvious reasons). So, yay for Band Girl!~

You guys are not making this easy on me. Personally I can't think of many established anime bands. It might just be me. My concerns is if we allow bands that it will be slightly unfair to individual musical performers. One group of four against one singer. An example would be Ho-kago Tea Time against Hatsune Miku. I guess to make the community happy ill allow established bands. I'm classifying established as having performed at least twice and not a temporary replacement (singer fell I'll and MC replaces him/her). If I previously crossed your nomination and you cangrd it, feel free to readd it. If you didn't change it, it's now valid. Second nominations is also open.
