    Now let met tell you why touma is the best fighter here besides armstrong. He only uses his right fist, not a sword or and oversized blunt object the average human fist as his weapon. that alone should show he is better, he has no need to use a anything other than his fists. Also lets take some time and look at the enemies hes had to face, in the order they appeared
    Mikoto Misaka - has taken sereval hundred million volts of lighting from fight her near constantly, also she doesn't hold back when fighting him
    Stiyl Magnus - has been nearly melted or burn to ash many a time from his flames and flame-sword let alone having to fight the monster known as Innocentius
    Kanzaki Kaori - one of the twenty saints in the magic sides arsenal, her magic and skills are beyond what most magicians can become after a life time of work, not to mention her wire/sword magic can easier turn a car or city landscape into scrape metal/dust
    Index in John Penns mode - Having to fight literally then entirety of all forbidden magical knowledge and has perfect control over it and SURVIVING should speak for itself.
    Aureolus Izzard - a man whos magic can back anything he thinks a reality
    Accelerator (before being shot) - THE number 1 esper of academy city, no one aside from one scientist has eve been able to touch accelerator let alone hurt him enough to say that they beat him
    Misha Kreutzev - the angel gaberial who has taken over sasha kreutzev's body, did i mention shes and angel meaning she easily works god level magics
    Tsuchimikado Motoharu - a close friend and double agent specializing in underhanded fight and the ability to regenerate and damage parts of his body
    And this is just the 1st season! Let alone season two, the prelode to WW3, WW3 itself, and the new testament part of the series (btw he fights a magic god so yea). And keep in mind hes just a highschool guy with absolutely zero training in fighting nor magic

    Damn it, I never should have changed my bracket.

    I see your point there RandomGinger, but 366 eps minus X amount of filler still equals a hell of a lot more screen time for Ichigo, and for shounen melee characters more screen time gives them a huge advantage. I'm not even really a Bleach fan and have only seen 133 eps but even still Ichigo is the superior choice.

    But stiiiiiill, the only reason he wins is a combination of luck and his deus ex machina Imagine Breaker. All of the listed enemies' attacks and defences are negated by the Imagine Breaker. Without it, he'd just be some kid futilely punching things, and dead many times over due to electricity, fire, *rest of science and magic*.
    Just saying, on terms of pure melee and not including his IB, he's got next to nothing.

    Pretty sure he's a Soul Reaper, actually. Granted he's not solely melee, he does have ranged attacks (Getsuga Tensho) but the majority of his attacks and his fighting style are melee.

    Eh would someone be so kind as to put my vote for ichigo me laptop is busted and limited functionality on phone. and while ichigo does have some range (and is not a quincy) I think he is the better choice for this one
